If you assumed the season of summer announcements were over, you’re mistaken. The one advantage of E3 getting long in the tooth, is that publisher livestreams span several months now, and can occur at any time. Capcom Next is firing up on 1st July, then, with a deeper look at the surprise announcement of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which was teased earlier this week.
The broadcast will also feature updates on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, as well as the iOS version of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. While that’s the official list of titles provided by Capcom, we’d expect other trailers and announcements – even if it’s minor stuff like merchandise or events for Street Fighter 6.
The show will get underway from 3PM PDT / 11PM BST, but if you’re not sure what time that is for you, we’ve compiled a handy guide below:
- North America: 3pm PDT / 4pm MDT / 5pm CDT / 6pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 11pm BST
- Europe: 12am (Tue) CEST / 1am (Tue) EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 7am (Tue) JST / 6am (Tue) AWST / 8am (Tue) AEST
- Your Local Time:
We’ll host the Capcom Next livestream here on Push Square, so you can look forward to enjoying it with our community, with all the usual bells and whistles like live chat. Will you be tuning in to the broadcast on 1st July? Let us know in the comments section below.

One of the best news to wake up to. I am so happy.
Fingers crossed for a shadow drop!
Not touching it unless they fix the constant phone calls. That really soured the experience for me.

How... How do you know where I live, Sammy?
Watched a review of the last remaster last night (the PS4 one) and in all honestly I wasn’t impressed. Some guy just overhead kicking zombies for hours on end, maybe I’m missing something 🤷♂️
Turns out there won't be any other titles shown. That's your lot. No updates on MonHun Wilds or any of our other titles.
Hopefully its a big graphical update, as original is a but bland but it was an early 360 title
How odd that they're calling it a remaster instead of a remake.
I never got into this on Xbox 360.. might be worth a revisit though
I recall enjoying Dead Rising. Doing the save-everybody run for the achievement on 360 was good fun. I'd want the controls to get a good looking at on any remake/remaster, from recollection they were slightly clunky/wonky.
With the classic 90s RE trilogy coming to GoG, wondering if Capcom will do them on consoles soon, a short teaser announcement for console would be wonderful at the livestream. Highly doubt they will tho
Praying onimusha gets revived to a full reboot one day that and Dino crisis
@colonelkilgore did they call it a remaster? I played the PS4 version and the original and it seemed exactly like the original 360 version, just ported to PS4.
@StrickenBiged I think it's the first one on PS4 i played a while back and i think it was, a double flick of the stick made Frank do a roll, so he was frequently rolling when I didn't want him to.
@BecauseBecause the story on Push Square indicated that it was, that’s why they’ve had to call this new one a Deluxe Remaster.
For me it's more of a remake than remaster. It appears that MT Framework (Capcom's previous game engine that got replaced by RE Engine) doesn't support PS5 etc. Hence the overhaul in appearance on the RE engine/
This sounds as very good news to me Of course looking forward to know more about the game soon
dr1 was one of my favorite games back on the 360 , if it got a fresh coat of paint the controls updated a lil better, this would be a must buy. so i'm pretty excited to see if and what changes they made to modernize this game.
Couldn't get into this all them years ago. I hate with a passion time restricted anything in games (outside racing) and the whole premise is time restricted 🤣 obviously fits the narrative and theme but not for me. I'm still waiting on a Dino Crisis remake goddamit!! It keeps appearing on polls and we only got 2 good games. I dunno...maybe in the future 😭
@rick1987 praying that as well.
@colonelkilgore I don't get the big hype either, but I'm guessing zombie games were less common and a more popular genre back when Dead Rising 1 originally released.
One of the few Capcom franchises that doesn’t really do anything for me. I tried to play the ones on ps4 but it seemed buggy and boring to me.
