SteamWorld Heist 2 is about to surface on PS5 and PS4 on 8th August, and we've just gotten our best look yet at the submersible tactics game. Players can look forward to gathering all kinds of hats on this humorous adventure to solve a deadly water crisis causing innocent Steambots to corrode.
Whereas the original SteamWorld Heist took place in space, the sequel is diving beneath the waves, allowing playersallowing players to command their own submersible. As they explore horizons above and below the bowline, your crew will need to engage in tense, 2D turn-based tactical combat, which revolves around ricocheting shots around corners in cramped and close quarters.
Players must gather a comedic crew of companions along the way. Together, they can raid enemy bases to steal valuable loot and, afterwards, rest at one of the world's many lively bars to upgrade gear and crew and forge new alliances with prospective shipmates.
