Grasshopper Manufacture has confirmed Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will release for PS5 and PS4 this Halloween, priced at just £19.99 / $24.99. Pre-orders are live on the PS Store now, and offer three days of early access prior to the 31st October 2024 launch. A suitably bonkers trailer has been published to commemorate the release date news, which you can check out above.

The 4K remaster of the PS3 original will also sport a New Game+ option and four bonus costumes. "Join the crass Garcia Hotspur and his boney buddy, Johnson, as they traverse the depths of the Underworld to steal back Garcia's kidnapped lover, Paula, from the clutches of Fleming, the Lord of the Underworld," the PS Store listing teases. It seems there will be a physical version too, provided by Limited Run Games.

Shadows of the Damned first released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011, where it garnered a bit of a cult following and has been a fan-favourite ever since. With its remaster now set for Halloween, it's been noted by fans how it's now one of three PS3 classics making a comeback in a short space of time. There's the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on 19th September, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on 25th September, and then Shadows of the Damned arrives one month later.
