The UK's latest physical games chart is here, and while it's largely what you'd expect at this point, there are one or two surprise reappearances from discounted titles. Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is back in the top 10, moving from 14th to eighth place. It's an even bigger leap for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which was out of the top 40 entirely, and now finds itself in number nine.
Hogwarts Legacy is in the top position for the second week in a row, and EA Sports FC 24 is similarly unmoving at number two. Moving up three spots to fourth place is Elden Ring, while Grand Theft Auto V moves a step down from sixth to seventh. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition rounds things out at number 10. It's a pretty decent week for publisher Bandai Namco with three pre-2024 games putting in work.

It's a good job Hogwarts Legacy flopped as badly as it did. It makes the decision by WB Games to shift their focus onto live service and free to play titles much easier to understand.

physical sales only chart is pointless doesn't take into account the 2/3 of the market which is digital
PoP is well worth the admission price at 50% off.... great game.

If you can go from top 40 to number 9 without any big event, it tells you that even the lower end of the top represents a tiny number of sales.
I mean it was a good price on Prime day I'm not surprised PoP has jumped back up again

I saw a brand new copy of The Lost Crown for 23 bucks. I enjoyed the demo and tempted to buy it. But i already planned to get Kunitsu-Gami / Apollo Justice collection before other games. sigh...
Between PC, PS4, and mostly PS5, I have more than 500 hours of Cyberpunk 2077 game time, and I still want to play it more. Definitely on my all-time favorite games list.
@trev666 I don't think we're there yet. Unless you have a source that most games sell 66% digital, 34% physical.

It’s good to see Prince Of Persia in top 10. Just beat this game a couple weeks ago, it is honestly an amazing game.
Almost didn’t buy it cause I hate Ubisoft and hate the way they marketed this game. Glad I gave it a chance.
