For a while, Nacon was making the only tennis games in town – but that’s not the case now TopSpin 2K25 has returned to the arena. The French publisher has been looking for ways to differentiate its latest title, Tiebreak, then. And the solution: it just has way more content, with over 120 officially licensed players and almost 100 tournaments.
The downside is that it’s missing the Grand Slams, but as the licensed partner of both the ATP and WTA, it’s got almost every other major tournament, including the all-important ATP Final and WTA Final. You can catch a glimpse of some of the events included in the trailer above, including the likes of Indian Wells and Shanghai.
We’re looking forward to testing out the title for ourselves come launch on 22nd August, and of course it will be interesting to see how it measures up against TopSpin 2K25.

As a tennis fan, this is the equivalent of eFootball having the licensed Mexican league and promoting it. Grand Slams are what draw the crowds although I do enjoy ones like Indian Wells and Queens. And the ATP Finals are not all-important, they have a fraction of the prestige that comes with the Grand Slams or even Olympic gold. Barely above a 1000 Masters.

I'll be looking forward to this website's review since it seems there's a good number of staff who like tennis video games. I enjoy Top Spin 2K25 but would love to have another game to compliment it.
Was it me or did that trailer feature no grass courts?
