After being teased for quite some time, the Powerpuff Girls have now been officially confirmed to be joining the roster in MultiVersus. WB Games' platform fighter will introduce the Cartoon Network trio when Season 3 gets started on 17th September 2024.
As you can see in the above trailer, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will all be playable together as one character, technically. Their move set looks to combine all their abilities as they team up for some pretty interesting combos. Also seen in the trailer are a couple of variant skins, including the Rowdyruff Boys and Dynamo Suits. It looks as though the trio will also bring with them a special Townsville stage.
Also confirmed is another new character — Nubia, a DC heroine originating in the Wonder Woman comics. She will join MultiVersus later in Season 3.

This is cool, but I lost hope in Ice Bear being in Multiversus, so I'm probably never touching this thing.
They look so much fun!
The alternate costumes look really good. They look fun to play as well
Oh SNAP Nubia?! I guess I am playing this game now. That just made my year!
(Edit: darn didn’t realize it wasn’t on Switch, xbox version it is then.)
The game unfortunately didn't really click with me. One of those games that just doesn't feel satisfying I guess?
But if they add Generator Rex? I will devote my life to this game😂
I can't wait to play the PPGs.
Nubia would have made more sense in Injustice 3. She isn't a very recognizable or iconic character so her inclusion in MVS is odd.
I grew up when the Powerpuff show was first airing and in the targeted age range at that, and frankly, I never understood why it was so popular - let alone why the IP seems to endure to this day.
Lol the splash art at the end makes it look like the phone is playable too.
How many people here are still playing this game, out of curiosity?
