Debuting gameplay during Sony's State of Play showcase, Hell is Us is an action-adventure game set in a war-torn nation. In addition to the civil war, players will need to contend with the mysterious supernatural creatures plaguing the land, which are proof against modern weapons. This one is due out on PS5 in 2025.
With no map, compass, or quest markers, players must trust their instincts and a selection of less-modern weapons, such as swords, spears, and axes. Meanwhile, a very modern drone will support them in this endeavour and guide them through this surreal, hellish world.
What do you think of Hell is Us? Does it look like a journey worth undertaking? Let us know in the comments section below.

That’s not a title that rolls off the tongue. They really need to work on better game titles these days.
Looks interesting, I can't wait to see a story trailer.
Will be keeping an eye on this
I'm interested to see more of what exactly this game is like!
got bored of seeing the same monster design by the end of the trailer, which isn't great. otherwise, i thought this looked promising, but there's just no variety in enemy design, which feels like wasted potential.
@nessisonett It was all downhill from The Last of Us
This looks really interesting. Love a sci-fi soulslike!
@Khayl It’s made worse by the fact I have a slight lisp. That title can get in the bin.
What the .. flipping eck is this
I've been waiting to see gameplay of this for what feels like forever
And I was happy with what I saw, definitely on my wishlist.
Death Stranding Dark Souls lol
@sanguinekhajiit I'm sure they've revealed all the enemies in this trailer right? Get a grip 🙄
Looks quite good, actually. There’s a weird combination of photo realistic graphics alongside the artistically designed abstract. But it works.
Looks promising to me, but also not sure either. I like the ideas, but… it’s also Nacon. Most of their games have an interesting idea or two and just don’t congeal for me. If it’s more Control than Souls, I’ll be watching.
This has found itself firmly on my radar. I love the creepy vibe.
I'll skip this for sure.
The thing of no map or markers if executed right might be the new best thing. To actually make you notice where you have been and where it is new.
Looks kinda cool
This one grabbed my attention, interested to find out more, but I know Nacon can be hit and miss so keeping expectations in check.
@daveofduncan insanely unnecessary response! have a better day, buddy.
