It looks like Sony is restocking the PS5 Slim Digital—30th Anniversary Bundle in the hours to come, but so far, this replenishment is for American customers only. Spotted by the ever-watchful billbil-kun (thanks, VGC), it looks like additional inventory will be made available at 9AM PDT today, 29th October, via PlayStation Direct.
To further underline the fact, this is not the PS5 Pro bundle but rather the slimmed-down, digital-only PS5 edition (with accompanying DualSense controller), decked out in the iconic colouring and iconography of the PS1. One could potentially be yours for just $499, a decent consolation prize for collectors unable to secure the coveted Pro bundle.
Will you throw your hat into the ring and try to secure a PS5 Slim Digital -30th Anniversary Bundle? How long do you expect this stock to last? Will we see additional stock in Europe and Asia? Let us know in the comments section below.

For beep sake, people want them, stop making them so difficult to get. I wish they would just do open preorders for a week or even a month and if you miss it, you miss it.
If they want the console to be so limited it’s extremely rare, at least sell us the covers in the PSX colours.
I managed to get a DualSense controller, that’s it. I wanted to buy it all.
I would cancel my PS5 Pro pre ordered for this one if i could find it in a second. I love the PS1 coloring. I wish they would have kept it beyond the PS1. I do hope to pick up a few of the controllers.
I got the PS5 Pro anniversary bundle so I’m good. Good luck to all who want one though!
One thing I find interesting is that here (in Australia) one of the PS5 Pro retailers (JB HiFi) held ballots for the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary... at about AUD1600 (without the drive?)... it's now had 3-4 re-ballot annoucements due to the fact that a lot of winners were changing their mind. Perhaps this is a by-product of having a ballot (and letting people have time to think). They also limited to one product per ballot (so you couldn't buy a anniversary controller AND the PS5 Pro which makes me think maybe people were weighing up the cost a little more seriously now...).
@HonestHick I was on the fence between a ps5 pro and 30th ps slim so I went with the slim purely for aesthetics. Your choice has the benefit of owning a superior machine which logically makes more sense. But nostalgia erases logic, at least in my case
This is my preferred version, but I haven't been able to snag one unfortunately here in Europe. It was in my shopping cart and disappeared during checkout.
Sony seem to focus on the USA a lot more than Europe and we know why, it has a strong hold in Europe and UK.
The disc drive add on is also available in the USA but not UK and Europe and prices seem a bit better in the USA.
Don’t forget you loyal European and UK gamers Sony.
How about disc drives in Europe, Sony...
I'm not paying €240 for one.
@Czar_Khastik i completely understand your rationale, I think I share it.
It probably helps that I have very little interest in the Pro's feature set (and haven't even upgraded to 4K yet).
@AK4tywill I have a 4k sony bravia lcd tv but from 2019 so in order to fully enjoy the ps5 pro I would first need to buy a new OLED 4k tv with vrr support and all other ps5 related functionalities. So yeah, we're not missing out on much yet and maybe ps6 is the more appropriate upgrade for us
@Czar_Khastik either console works. I mean at the end of the day it’s all about personal enjoyment. I think you made a great choice and i hope you enjoy it. Thats all that counts 😀
@SoulChimera it wouldn’t be a special edition if it was so “easy” to access. Across all industries special edition anything usually has some shenanigans involved to get it. Part of the charm for special editions for human nature. Plus it builds brand marketing.
Still salty I couldn't get a Pro anniversary bundle
Very much enjoying what the PS5 brings to the table, both games and menu/interface design. Absolutely hate the physical design of the plastic box itself. Ugliest thing I’ve ever had the misfortune of looking at. This 30th anniversary color scheme is the only one that looks even remotely half decent—this should not be limited, this should have been the standard design of the system since launch (same with Pro variant). They need to show whoever designed the PS5’s plastic shell the door (along with whoever gave it the ‘ok’) and bring back whoever conceived the glorious PS1, PS2 and PS4 launch models.
Nice Sony does nothing for Europe as usual got to love how the leave us on the side every time.
@Vaako007 That’s what I meant with the side plates instead. If they want to make it insanely difficult to get a console, the Edge controller or the Portal, there is nothing stopping them from releasing the grey coloured plates for the rest of us.
Now they have more consoles than exclusive games.
My PS is always standing somewhere behind the telly and I really don't care how does it look like, can be black, pink, brown - only games matter, rest is waste of time and money.
