Helldivers 2's Killzone Crossover Has Been Officially Confirmed for PS5, PC

That’s awesome! Come on Sony, give us Killzone 5!

Get in there..we are obviously never going to get a new killzone game so this will scratch that itch for a while..

Yup this is what I need. Let's start the crossovers.

Now before Killzone fans start going crazy about how the series is done I think they should watch the Horizon documentary by Noclip and find some peace lol. If it was on Guerrilla, there was a 50/50 chance of Shadow Fall never happening.
(I hope for a remaster tho lol).

Either Sony's testing the water to see if it's good enough to spark a demand for Killzone revival.

It's just a normal crossover to celebrate PS 30th anniversary with Killzone as the best choice because Helghast armor fits perfectly with Helldivers aesthetics.

@PuppetMaster It is this. Guerilla have openly stated they are done with it for now and we keep talking about how devs should work on what they love. The devs clearly love working on Horizon.

@breakneck Yeah. Even if somehow we get a new Killzone, my best guess is it will be Killzone 1 remake but not by Guerilla.

@PuppetMaster Could be an interesting for Nixxes who Sony really seem to trust and by the looks of it are already quite comfortable with Decima.

Bluepoint too but they seem to have graduated from Remakes/remasters now.

I've yet to play Helldivers 2 but I'd nearly buy this DLC just to show support for Killzone 😅

Was gona say could get a new game from the people that made KZ Mercenaries, but I think they actually got closed 😩

Killzone is just another of Sonys IP they’ve left behind that I miss along with sly, Jak etc.

Asking for too much money for what you are getting. Like I could understand if it was a more expensive warbond at $20 instead of $10, but $20 for only half of the planned Killzone content is absurd. That means to get all the Killzone stuff you have to pay the same amount as you did when buying the game

@GymratAmarillo It was by far the worst entry. It lost all its Killzone feeling i didnt even want to finish the campaign. If its more like Killzone 3 fine If its like the last PS4 then Just let the series die.

Now do a Haze crossover just for laughs. 😆

Kill Zone's esthetics are unrivalled in my honest opinion.

@Killionaire you technically don’t have to pay for the warbonds either but that doesn’t negate the fact that even if you got all your super credits from farming missions that these items are incredibly overpriced. Not to mention with warbonds it gives you $3 worth of credits back. This means the Killzone items all together cost almost 6 times as much as a single warbond while only giving you half the amount of in game items. That is absurd

I wish that franchise wasn't dead.
I need to go back do Helldivers and get these cosmetics though

@Flaming_Kaiser That was the only killzone game I ever played since the first time I got Playstation after the PS2. Sad that it wasn't all that good because I really did enjoy the gameplay and especially the feel of it. If they do make another one I would imagine it would INCREDIBLY toned down and changed to not be offensive.

Absolutely disgusting prices here from Arrowhead, you’re paying 2 war bonds worth for barely any content, by the time the second part of this collab comes out you’re paying FOUR war bonds worth for basically one worth of content.

This will set a bad precedent for future prices if it sells well.

I've been calling for this since the game released, it just fits perfectly.

Those prices are very questionable. Seems a bit like going Epic way and every cross over item triple charging of what it should be.

i'd take a full on remake of the first killzone game which was a ps2 game. same with resistance fall of man.

damn that's expensive, 1975 credits for the whole set. For almost the cost of 2 Warbonds, if they release all the cross-over sets like this it's going to be mighty expensive.

They said they increased the number of days to get it to 5 days. To me, it should have been a week minimum for crossovers like this, preferably 2 weeks. I mean not for me personally because im sitting on 7,250 super credits with all warbonds paid through super credits earned in game lol. And seems like crossovers lately to me(at least in the games I play) results in increase prices. Never the less this is cool and it's a natural fit for the game instead of the goofy collabs they be doing in things like COD.

Sure, it's one way to use an IP then figures, a tv show, a book again since the last times they did one, OST or anything else.

@Nepp67 For me personally if they make it a COD clone then i rather have them kill the IP.

Killzone 3 had that heavy feeling shooting, those awsome melee kills, interactive maps, classes, Operations as mode was my absolute favorite mode and it was fun to play aswell as a beginner as a seasoned player.

Killzone 2 was fantastic aswell but terrible insane unachiveble trophies, as a rookie fighting against the more skilled players was a nightmare. I would take a multiplayer only version of KZ3. 😆
