Incredibly, Season 20 of continued support for Fallout 76 on PS4 went live today. In a first for Bethesda's storied franchise, players will be able to shrug off some of that necessary skin to become rad-loving Ghouls if they wish. After undergoing "Ghoulification", players will need to make some adjustments to how they play.
For starters, they'll have access to 30 unique Ghoul perks, and rather than consume food or drink to survive, will need to consume vast quantities of drugs in order to keep their base Feral nature at bay. Further, radiation is no longer a danger, soak up enough rads, and you'll start to Glow, increasing your max HP and playing into certain perks for additional power and added build variety.
Have you been keeping tabs on Fallout 76? Are you willing to undergo Ghoulifactation in order to experience its world from a new perspective? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

I like Fallout 76 good game great map. lots of people who have very strong opinions and hate fallout 76 have never actually played it because of what they believe it is. even if they do try it they start it up put very little into it and dismiss it. believe me i was one of those people I never got it at launch because of what i assumed it was.
having sunk hundreds of hours into it i can say you can play the whole of fallout 76 solo. Did all the main quests i loved exploring the map one of the best maps they have made and didnt engage in the multiplayer or settlement building or microtransactions.
another game im glad i didnt miss out on because of everyone else's opinion on it
@trev666 I played it for a few months when it first came out. I really enjoyed it and planned getting back into it again but have just never found the time.
@trev666 I might be be one of the people you just described. While I do not actively hate it, the limited time I spent with it didn’t gave me that Fallout kick I was craving for after Fallout 4. I have sunk countless hours in Elder Scrolls Online (playing solo) and it felt just the thing to scratch my elder scrolls itch. Maybe it set my expectations with Fallout 76 differently. I do hope I can dive in sometime in future and realise how wrong I was.
Sorry for the English, not my first language 😀
I enjoy dipping into Fallout 76 every now & again. I play it for a couple of months, have a great time but then drift away usually due to other games.
The ghoul update looks interesting but I have some doubts too and it has some issues.
When you ghoul up your character you get one free chance to deghoul yourself. However if you decide later to ghoul up again and say a patch comes along that changes ghoul powers to a point you are not having fun it then costs real money to deghoul yourself a second time via a token in the atomic shop (& any future deghoulings)
Also to interact with some factions you have to use a disguise to hide that you are a ghoul. It has to be a specific disguise though that you only get from a specific NPC and has some drawback to wearing (slower move speed among other things.) If you want to remove said disguise you have to go back to same NPC to remove it. It's only a clothing item not anything fancy, why?
Why can't you use power armour as a disguise or the many other masks and face covering in the game?
The other thing about the disguise is that many of the factions you have to use it for already have ghouls in their ranks. So why the heck do you have to use a disguise to hide you are a ghoul when they have already accepted them.
It seems a bit all over the place and inconsistent in many places.
That said I am for sure creating a character that will be a ghoul the next time I play F76.
The only thing I have against Fallout 76 is that I wish it's devs were working on TES:VI and FO5 instead.
Eh, unless/until they release a native PS5 version, I can't see myself ever returning to 76. The game demanding nearly 100GB of free space whenever it needs to download even a small patch, that fun little wrinkle of PS4 versions, is just profoundly irritating for a live product.
Ngl, thought this game was dead 😵
What in the world 😂😂😂😂
