Metal Eden is a sci-fi FPS in which players take on the role of a "hyper-unit", and it looks pretty slick. We got a look at gameplay in a new trailer, as well as word that a demo will be coming to PlayStation on 8th April, which is always appreciated.
Sent on a suicide mission to save the COREs of citizens trapped in the monolithic city of Moebius, where the slumber, after the city itself, has been overrun by the corrupted, mechanised forces of the Internal Defence Corps. Players will be able to employ a wide variety of futuristic weapons as they dominate the skies using jet packs and grappling hooks to run rings around the opposition.

What do you think of Metal Eden? Do you crave a single-player shooter experience from time to time? Will you try out the Impending demo? Let us know in the comments section below.

There are more than enough great games and more than ever before so I can't complain but still, why do 99% always have to be the same generic sci-fi crap
In my experience, demos rarely do a game justice. I prefer to play the final product.
This looks pretty epic. I'm loving the generic sci-fy crap setting and I'm hoping for severe, debilitating controller lag@ sub 60fps and invisible, immersion breaking walls...sarcasm aside I'll be keeping an eye out for this.
@Frmknst I think accounting for fantasy/swords and sorcery titles alone renders your comment more than a bit odd.
From the makers of Ruiner. I am looking forward to this.
Certainly looks like something I'd enjoy, as I love my Sci-Fi. I will probably try out the demo too, though I hope it doesn't spoil the story too much...
@Absymbel Wait, for real? That game was awesome. This is even more exciting for me than before.
I wish more games released demos like they did back in the day. Will definitely give this a spin!
