Elden Ring Nightreign studio FromSoftware has introduced another of its playable characters for the upcoming online spin-off to its 2022 smash hit. Ironeye is their name, and they're bringing a bow and arrow to the ever-changing Limveld along with some seriously flashy parkour moves. See them in action in the new trailer above.
While the footage is brief, we see the character damage enemies at a distance with the ability to shoot multiple arrows at once, climb up buildings to shoot enemies in mid-air, and even stagger foes if they're shot in the back. One final move seems to tease the ability to shoot arrows through multiple enemies, where they don't lose their speed or impact having torn through the first monster.

The multiplayer entry will have eight playable characters at launch, four of which were revealed and accessible in the recent beta test. They were the Wylder, Guardian, Duchess, and Recluse. Of the remaining faces still to be confirmed, we've seen an older gentleman wielding a huge axe and another character with a katana in previous trailers.
Elden Ring Nightreign releases for PS5 and PS4 on 30th May 2025. Will you make Ironeye your main? Let us know your pick so far in the comments below.

Never been a bow guy, but this dude is making me change my mind…
I'm very sceptical about Nightreign, we need more information other than 8 classes and 8 bosses. Based on what we currently got this game is 90% recycled materials from Elden Ring. This should be a free update to Elden Ring or a £10 max. In Ghost of Tsushima we got Legends for free. I know the game is gonna have updates in the future but i'm not sure if that updates are gonna be free.
@Frmknst Chivalry 2, Far Cry 5 and Hunter Call of the Wild got it right too.
Bloodborne spiritual successor just got announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 lol.
