I'm really curious as to what all actually happened at Konami. It's sad to think that any of this is true, as they were by far one of my favourite companies back in the 8 and 16 bit eras.

I personally think it's a great selection. As an old fan of the Escape Velocity games, Rebel Galaxy was fantastic. It was more than worth the asking price, anyone with a slight interest should try it.
For the other systems, Yakuza is a great series, and Patapon is just fun to play.

Great review! Such a tease though, I've had my copy since launch, reversed the cover, and it's just sitting there until I have time to finish Uncharted 4.

Very excited, I've been a big fan ever since the original shareware version hit. I do hope that he's not just being boastful, only for it to bite him though. But, I've loved every incarnation of Doom, for various reasons, so I'm sure I'll love this one regardless.

It's slightly disappointing to me, but eh, it's just a cover. I agree with whoever said they should just recreate the classic original cover.

Since I doubt they would be given an HD collection, all of the PS2 Legacy of Kain games. The first two PS1 games are available on the PS3's store, and I'd love to be able to play them all on modern consoles.

Just... Just give me a Legacy of Kain remastered collection, and I'll never ask for anything again. Hell, I'd just take a straight collection.

I'd love for it to come to the PS4 as well, though if it doesn't, I'll just get the PS3 version. I've been a die hard Castlevania fan since the first one on NES.

@Reverend_Skeeve Rage is the only Id game that I've never played, was it any good? Haha, and trust me, I've been thinking about that! I've loved every single version/sequel of Doom, and I can't wait for 4 to get out of development hell so I can play it on PS4. (I have a decent enough PC, but always preferred console play.)

I don't normally double dip on games (Unless it's name is DooM), but I enjoyed the Tomb Raider reboot enough that I'd purchase it again.

I've loved everything about it so far. (Aside from a small scare from a faulty super cheap hdmi cable) My favourite games so far are Killzone and Resogun, with Killzone looking gorgeous while playing well, and Resogun just being plain addicting. The new controller is amazing for me, as I have giant hands, and just overall I love the system. It, in conjunction with my Wii U, are going to make me very happy as a gamer.

I can now say that my console works perfectly. Killzone and Resogun are super impressive to me so far. And what Lelouch says is true, trolls were blowing everything out of proportion.

That's good to hear! I've been gaming since the Intellivision, so I know that no launch is ever perfect. But frankly, all the trolling on various message boards was starting to get to me. I suppose I'll find out in a few minutes how the console is. As an aside, fantastic work, Sammy. Your articles are a big reason that I enjoy this site so much.

He's certainly not my favourite youtuber, but the footage looks great, and I can't wait to play Shadow Fall on launch.

@ViciousDS EXACTLY my reaction when I read that. It kind of blows my mind that games can look that (or about that) good now. I was originally going to stick with the Wii U this generation, but Sony completely sold me with their conference.
