@Gamer83 I honestly think that if they do go down that road it will not be until late next year. Even then, 3 AC titles in a year seems rather absurd considering they've clearly struggled with 2. This'll plummet in price, grab it in a month or so.
Becuase the controls are unforgivable. They're uninviting and relentlessly Difficult. That in itself is an issue of accessibility by default. It's enjoyment is too Exclusive, much like the Souls franchise I compare it to. The point is definitely lost on many and that's undoubtedly a damaging aspect of the title, closing the door on many of the more impatient players. I definitely agree with @get2sammyb on this Too, where the devil is Move support!?
I appreciate the angle they come at and that's reflected in the Score but even the hilarious physics gets old after your 5th attempt at a heart transplant. It's nice to know you've been enjoying it though! It'll be interesting to see how the co-op mode affects gameplay for those hitting the accessibility issues..
@daveh30 I'd be inclined to agree. It made me angry for a long time with only a brief revelation making me realise this is a game that makes a joke of itself.
Accessibility is a huge issue here, it needed to be called out. It got a 6/10 for a reason.
The option to jump between first or third sounds like the best option here. Silent Hill fans can experience it the classic way while newcomers from the PT can continue the experience. As for 2016, that's a fair wait for hopefully a franchise defining release. Irrespective, I'd still take this all with a truck-load of salt.
Awesome walkthrough Sammy! This was so much fun but truly terrifying. I've got a lot of faith in this now, intrigued to see where they'll be going with the "Hills" ideology.
Oh and people saying they have glitches, I had a few but there's a day one patch that seemed to fix everything bar a few unruly textures. Try restarting the game and it should install. Hope this helps.
Hahaha! Just as I was starting to worry again about Time Splitters you reignite the hope. This franchise truly is cursed. Hopefully the shift, however small, won't shine through in the finished product.
Absolutely adore LOK and from what I've seen this is shaping up to be both honourable to the series and a great game. I'm liking the combat and art style especially. Should be a good release.
So many games are dropping at 50GB.. As @jazzer94 pointed out, that means we're only going to be having 10-15 games.. Hard drive upgrades inbound. At least 1TB internals go for under £30 these days.
The drop in visuals is unsurprising but it's a shame about the first game. I'll probably stick to my PS3 versions while occasionally letting out a muffled sob when I think about R&C on PS4.
Irrespective, this is 100% on my purchase list. Anyone that hasn't played this and owns a PS4 just pick it up. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
I totally get people worrying about over saturating the console with Indie titles but a fair portion of them are fantastic. While AAA titles are a big deal, these smaller titles have a lot to offer and at their low price points (£5-£12) they're a far nice option to experience than picking up a naff £55 AAA title that's been rushed and being "fixed" in innumerable patches and expensive Dlc packages.
It's chess in Its finest digital form. Just nothing particularly different from the PS3 bar graphics. If you like chess and don't own the original then go for it!
@ginkgo @get2sammyb Yeah, while platforming is getting from A to B its true focus is in the RPG court. It's no Mario, more like a stunning Pokémon or 2D Blue Dragon (remember that game?! Maaaaan) Well worth a play.
All I can say is pick this up, if you're not a fan of the genre £11.99 is an ideal opportunity to experience something new, this is a stunning, simple and thoroughly enjoyable game.
I love what High Moon has done and am on board for a ps4 title. Something following unicron would be awesome. As long as it isn't a film tie-in I'm sure we can relax and conserve our energon until more news comes along.
@cofused_dude Thanks man! It's loads of fun, I won as the monster too high-five. Pretty fast paced/varied experience, will be good to see where they go with new monsters and maps.
I think it would diminish the gravity behind gaining a platinum trophy. Granted there are many PSN games that warrant it but many of them are... Somewhat easier to max out, people would be stocking up platinums left right and center. There should be a Uranium trophy, rewarded when you gather 100 Platinums.
In all honesty it focused too much on gimmicks for me to be swayed. It's innovative and a progression however the lack of focus was pretty disappointing. I think concrete judgements should be left for after E3 and all aces have been played. I'm still sold more on the PS4 but will be open minded until all the cards are on the table, especially considering both have near identical internal architecture.

Re: Video: Listen to Us Discuss the PS4's Biggest Upcoming Games
This was great fun, awesome work as ever Potter. Bloodborne has my full attention after EGX and thank god The Crew got a much-needed delay!
Re: Public Events to Become More Prolific with Destiny Hot Fix
@get2sammyb I am sincerely hoping it doesn't get the inevitable Activision onslaught of pricey DLC. £35 for the season pass hurt enough.
Re: Public Events to Become More Prolific with Destiny Hot Fix
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm more excited about what this game will be I'm a year's time than what it is now.
Judging by their ideas, this is only going to improve.
Re: Pre-Ordered Destiny and CoD: Advanced Warfare? Congrats, You get an Armour Shader

Save me a seat in the pub garden! Just grabbing my Cornetto. Summer blows for new releases. At least Skyrim and Fallout can never be truly finished.
