I'm feeling like the PS5 launch is like a friend who's throwing a party. They're promising me it's going to be the best party ever, but they haven't told me what date it's on, who's going to be there or where it is.
I think Sony's was better overall, it seemed there was a bit more variety genre wise and I think it more interesting exclusives personally. However, Microsoft's game pass and promise of 100 games on launch is a really great selling point for the system. Also, Microsoft didn't start their conference with footage of GTA V for some strange reason.
One thing I am finding confusing right now is that we're 5 months out at most and we still don't have a solid release date or price point for either console.
Overall I thought it was good. It had a good snappy pace, they got on with it quickly and the dev sections were actually interesting! And they had game footage to show alongside any dev sections.
With Valhalla's release date at November 17th did anyone else think that might be a clue for next gen systems release date?
