@ReigningSemtex NOT the point, many games suit FPS because of the nature this is a shooter/survival from what I can tell. You wouldn't play Amnesia or Evil Within in 3rd person.
Not sure if this was mentioned before today but 3rd person shooters have a very set play style, I would have hoped this was 1st person, kinda lost interest. I'd like to be surprised though.
It's good on PC, it depends on the player like Planetside 2, people complain about the cert points which are earned every 250 points (=1), they are expensive as far the exchange goes, considering you need them for everything. The main fanbase complain about only getting 20 a day (the average gun being 1,000) yet when I get on it with some people I met online we average 50 a day, so as I said "it all comes down to the player", they need income so I don't mind paying for a gun or two, however I never feel that I need to.
Sidenote: The tags for this review made me chuckle.
@Cowboysfan-22 I hate people that do that, they ruin it for those that really want them. Over here in the U.K Monty Python had a set tour the tickets sold out in 45 seconds and people were selling them on eBay for £3,000.
Could have sold that for the price of 2 maybe 3 now stocks are out. Then he could have two PS4s at no cost, and shot one of those. But hey-ho, "'Merica".
As with anything most people will focus on the bad. Yeah Knack isn't very appealing, but games like Killzone more than make up for it, infact the quality of the console and the price make up for it, they're losing money with each sale for God' sake.
@rastamadeus I'm asking for an example, Sony helped fund BF3 which is why they got DLC one week in advance. They didn't ban the game for other consoles, also knowing E.A it would have to be a very significant sum of money to stop them from publishing it on the PS4/PS3, in fact more than each of the two platforms could have raked in. Here is where my issue is.
@rastamadeus Next time? I can't think of a time when Sony paid a significant amount of money to prevent a game set for all systems to only publish on one or two.
@rastamadeus I hope you don't count me as everyone, pettiness is pettiness. If you're gonna act like a bitch you're gonna get called a bitch, it doesn't matter if they're my preferred console.
As I said earlier, however it's disrespectful to the game's devs to not inform them about major decisions. This is only going to give them a bad name, as a start up company you want your product on every available system. However this isn't a first for E.A, it started with the PS3 (which I enjoyed) receiving content a week earlier, which is a reasonable amount of time, it was just the right amount of exclusivity (pretty sure that's not a word). However they have gone with Microsoft this time round and upped the wait to a month. Slightly annoying for a game that started for PC seems to have forgotten it's origins. (Which is ironic considering how it can be bought for PC, hey E.A?)
I feel that this news has something to do with the recent comparison between the two machines. With Battlefield and CoD not running as well on the Xbox as they do on the PS4, imagine how embarrassing it would be for Xbox if a previous exclusive ran better on it's rival.
I'm not worried about the exclusives, Sony's exclusives have always appealed to me more than Microsoft's. If they feel the need to delay them, then I feel that there is a valid reason and people should chill. Admittedly it's not ideal considering they were almost promised, but there are plenty of games aimed at multi-platform (BF4, Assassin's Creed IV) which will hold us until the exclusives arrive.
It's highly unlikely to stay on the Xbox and PC, Respawn want to make more games for multiple platforms. Having your first game only accessible to 2/3 of your market will only give yourself a bad name. Would I play it? Most likely yes, a lot of gamer feedback could help the game providing they listen to the right group.

Re: Whoa, the PS4 Sold Over Half a Million Units in the UK Last Year
@BornOfEvil Haha I got my PS4 3 days before Christmas this woman went in and bought an Xbone and everyone in the queue sighed.
Re: Whoa, the PS4 Sold Over Half a Million Units in the UK Last Year
That's because most people want to buy a capable gaming platform not an entertainment platform, most Smart TVs can do what the Xbox One can.

Should have tried to bring back Crash Bandicoot.
Re: PS4 Exclusive Killzone: Shadow Fall's Launch Trailer Will Blow You Away
My laptop is struggling to play the video smoothly. I can't wait until I can afford a PS4 myself.

@get2sammyb It's a shame Microsoft's pettiness is showing.

Re: Talking Point: How Much Do Format Face-Offs Really Matter?
I doubt the X-Box One will surpass the PS4, even the Devs in a Q&A on Reddit admitted that the PS4 was the better of the two machines.
Re: Sony Puts PS4's Suspend Feature on Hold Until After Launch
I'd rather not have it, than it be faulty, I'd hate to take a break and come back to an hours worth of game gone.
