This is my biggest annoyance, years ago games started getting rated based on the hours it would take to complete a game, value for money was key in winning public oppinion and games lasting 6-8 hours were shunned.
Now we are saturated with uninspiring filler content, that I feel obligated to complete and ultimately switches me off the thought of gaming any time soon. I have absolutely loved games like Titan Fall 2 and Uncharted Remastered Collection.
Check the mods, on PC I have a mod where you can customise the damage dealt by enemies and you as a player for any difficulty. It may be on console also...
I expect the Minecraft roadmap to stay as it is on all platforms, however I bet there will be a focus on sequels or spin-offs that will be Windows/Xbone exclusive in the years to come.
Beta turned me off with the grindy flash missions and the fact that I was unable to get a single, person to join my fire team despite hundreds of invites to similarly levelled players. Flash missions dragged on and the loot was a little uninspiring.
If they fixed the social and flash missions I'd be interested, combat was slick and death match was good fun. It will be interesting to see what critics score the most talked about game this year.
Well, I was hyped initially but after a week with the beta and the really grindy flash missions, followed by an announcement that end game content would need coordinated groups,to plan and play 3 hour missions, just got turned off.

Quality over quantity is a must.

Perhaps a 6/10 is not too unrealistic
