Re: Scheduled PlayStation Network Maintenance to Persist Overnight

Knux

It really doesn't affect me much. I'm signed in right now and been able to sign in without much problems during the entire maintenance period. PS Store is down but it's not like I was planning on buying anything tonight.

The only annoying thing is the fact that my PS3 tends to freeze whenever I get the ''PS Store is under maintenance'' message and refuses to let me go back, even though there seems to be an option to do so.

Re: Is There a New Fallout Sequel on the Horizon?

Knux

What you guys said. I'm tired of playing games that force me to walk slow after an hour or less in a game like Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls IV, and Elder Scrolls V for no explainable reason whatsoever. If they can't fix the problem or at least tell me WHY that is even happening in the first place, then I'm not going to buy their games anymore, it's as simple as that.

Re: Talking Point: Does the PS4 Need 4K Resolution?

Knux

Good god, I just upgraded to a HDTV a few months ago! I hope Sony knows what they are doing!

If the PS4 shoves 4K technology down my throat, then the Wii U might be the only next-gen console I buy anytime soon. Simply because I rather not have to put up with an overpriced console while buying a ridiculously expensive TV (in my opinion, they need to be at least the same price HDTVs are now in order for me to even consider buying one).

I don't normally praise Nintendo, but I think I now know why they decided to go with the regular HDTV route instead of having 4K support for the Wii U. They are more concerned with providing cheaper technology rather than supporting something that hasn't even gone mainstream yet.

I thought Sony learned their lesson after the horrible early years of the PS3. Perhaps I was wrong.

Re: Sony Patent Plots an End to Used Game Sales

Knux

I would immediately refuse to buy a PS4 or any other console for that matter if this happens. You start taking away my rights as a gamer on how I purchase my games, you don't get my money.

And the ironic thing would be if Sony did this, then Nintendo would have a huge advantage because they at least have the common sense to allow you to buy used games for your Wii U.

Re: Game of the Year: Best PlayStation Vita Game of 2012

Knux

Kat is amazing, but the story doesn't make much sense to me so far. But perhaps it will make sense after I finish the game and play the DLC missions. Not that the story matters as much to me considering the gameplay is utterly amazing.

Re: Sony Ceases PlayStation 2 Shipments in Japan

Knux

The PS2 was a masterpiece. It really changed me as a gamer. Kingdom Hearts, Grand Theft Auto, Star Wars Battlefront II, and many other games made this console a classic. I'm honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Also, WTF RedxZero?

Re: NA PS Plus Subscribers Nab Retro City Rampage

Knux

This is an awesome game from what I played (will play more after Gravity Rush), but I bought this like a month or two ago. It's definitely worth the download if you haven't bought it already, especially since you're getting two versions of the same game.

Re: Is the PlayStation 4 Further Away Than We Think?

Knux

It makes sense. Microsoft will obviously rush their next-gen console while Sony will take their good sweet time with the PS4. After all, the PS3 is still selling like hotcakes. Honestly, I could care less about the PS4 right now. They could wait until 2016 or 2017 for all I care. There's still plenty of life left in the PS3.

Re: Reaction: The Last of Us' Launch Date Points to the PlayStation 4's Imminent Arrival

Knux

I don't think Sony is in any position to launch the PS4. They need to worry about making the Vita sell like hotcakes first. Not to mention that the PS3 is selling very well. Why switch to a new console now? Even if the PS4 launched in the next two years, I probably still wouldn't buy it at launch. There are just so many PS3 and Vita games to play right now that I'm not even interested in the PS4 right now, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

Also, I'm beyond excited for The Last of Us.
