The only one of these I plan on downloading on Tuesday is Ark, mainly because I know how easy it is to get the platinum if you hook a keyboard up to the console. Did it for a friend on their Xbox account and it’s like 2-3 hours max of using console commands and then you have your platinum trophy. So essentially it’s just one free platinum for me. Already own Ghost of Tsushima, Sonic racing games I never got into so I might try Ghostrunner eventually, but I’m worrying about finishing Horizon before I touch it, and even then March has a nice lineup of games I’d rather play first.
If Sony is gearing up to acquire more studios I wouldn’t be surprised to see them acquire Square Enix given the working relationship the two companies have had over the years
It says it’s not available in some regions(though I can’t see why it wouldn’t be available in Canada), that you also have to be 18 and have at least 10 hours of playtime on PS4/PS5 and I know I meet both of those requirements. Considering I saw it through PS Canada I can only assume it’s a bug that needs fixing.
If we’re being honest, the only companies Microsoft seems to be acquiring have all been American based companies haven’t they? Correct me if I’m wrong. Realistically I don’t see Sony having any interest in buying EA. I could see them buying Square Enix, Konami or Capcom before EA, though I’d see Square being more likely considering the business relationship they’ve had with them that’s seemed to be going pretty strong since the PSX days.
Tbh when I read this the big reason I could see Microsoft buying them, besides the fact COD sells well on PS systems, would be to cut Diablo IV off from releasing on PS systems. As far as we know there is no new Crash or Spyro games coming from them so it seems like it’s to cut off Diablo IV and COD mostly. Not hurt if they keep COD for themselves in the future after the deal closes, but I’d be pretty cross if they keep Diablo IV from PS5(because let’s be honest I doubt it was ever going to release on PS4)
@BlaizeV A port of Eternal Sonata would be nice, preferably for both PS4 and PS5, just so anyone who hasn’t had the luck to get a PS5 isn’t excluded from enjoying the game if they missed it back on PS3, especially considering it ended up being something that’s harder to find these days. I’d love to play it again on PS4/5, though as I played it on the 360 back in the day I had no idea the PS3 release didn’t have any trophies.
On rereleases of Tales games though I’d definitely love to see the Symphonia bundle that was released for PS3 rereleased for current gen as well. Symphonia was one of my favorites(also the first one I played as well). Definitely not something I’d ever hope to platinum though because of how tedious Tales games are for the platinum and I don’t want to spend months grinding out trophies tbh.
Only one of these I have interest in is the Lego DC one, mainly just as I already own Godfall digitally. One disappointment about it is that as I’ve already got the platinum for it on PS5 when I played the PS4 version it unlocked one trophy for me(level 20 in AToT) and no other ones unlock on the PS4 version for me, even after updates. Godfall after all the updates is a fairly decent game now at least and I’ll probably pay the little extra to get the deluxe upgrade for Lego DC if it’s one of the PS4 games next month
Classic Pac-Man is good and all, but where’s the rereleases of the Pac-Man World games. They were great back in the day. There have been so many releases of older Namco arcade games across the past 3 gens that having not played them is hard to say at this point. Bring back Pac-Man World and do a new one for PS4/PS5 maybe
Can’t say I’m surprised at it not releasing until 2023. I only remember seeing the initial trailer from the State of Play before the PS5 even released and, though it never mentioned a date, I wasn’t expecting this game until about 2023 anyways.
If you check the store page for the game as well(at least here in Canada) all it says is “Available 2021” and you can’t actually preorder it, it only has the option for it to be added to your wishlist. That could change I’m sure, but at the moment there isn’t any way to preorder the game.
@oldno1 Most of the multiplayer titles that have been given out with PS Plus seem to either be long dead when it’s a free game for the month, or it’s something that no one seems to really talk about leading up to its launch so why give players a game that has little to no buzz around it. Like my friends that play on Sony systems, I can’t see them claiming any of the free November games, outside of KoA. We didn’t claim Octobers games either, especially considering one of them is included in the PS Plus Collection for PS5 owners. Hopefully next month there will be something decent for PS4 and PS5 owners.
Kinda not happy with the multiplayer heavy focus on games lately. The only one that appeals to me is Kingdoms of Amalur are-Reckoning. Don’t have a VR and have little interest in the VR titles, as for the other two I’ve only just heard of First Class Trouble and it doesn’t appeal to me, and I can’t exactly get into PvP dodgeball. For those who are interested in all the titles it’ll be nice, but I just don’t like the focus on the online multiplayer games for PS Plus lately. I don’t mind multiplayer games, but it would be nicer to get something that can be done offline solo or online.

Re: All These Activision Blizzard Studios Will Likely Cease PlayStation Development
@Kopite I would be on board with this. Even if it’s just remaking the older N64 games tbh.

Legend of Dragoon or Chrono Cross is my guess. I’ve been wanting remakes for both for years, but would highly prefer Legend of Dragoon

Re: All PS5 and PS4 Game Trials and Demos
I could be wrong but, I swear when I was on the PS Store earlier that Subnautica: Below Zero also has a game trial available.
