@Flaming_Kaiser The Witcher 3 looks nice. It's expansive and complex too. It just didn't click for me. Everything about it felt a little bit off. I like my games to feel... somehow tighter, all round. (For example, Horizon Zero Dawn is smaller, and more shallow than TW3, but it's a joy to play.)
Back on topic, I enjoyed FFXV, but that was a bit disappointing too. I hope FFVII remake has more interesting battle mechanics.
@Flaming_Kaiser IMHO, swerve The Witcher 3, unless you like the idea of a 3rd person Elder Scrolls with fudgy, unsatisfying hand feels.
The original FFVII has to go down as the most powerful gaming experience I ever had. As a teenager, it opened my mind to the whole RPG genre. Still, with an ever-growing backlog to work through, I doubt I'll pay full price on day one.
Yep. Very happy. I only got about half way through TLOU and now my ex has it. I've been waiting for it to come to PS Plus. I'll have a go of a baseball game too. MLB is not something I'd buy, and pleasant surprises are part of the appeal of PS Plus.
@WallyWest Similar story here. I think I might have played Demon's Souls for five minutes on PS3, when I had very little idea of what it was all about. After properly playing (and properly loving) DS3 and Bloodborne on PS4, I'm keen to go back to where the Soulsbourne phenomenon began.
@KidBoruto RDR1 seems very likely, since nearly the whole map is already there in RDR2. If you have a Wii, you can get a somewhat enhanced version of Bully Scholarship Edition on that. (That's one of my fondest Wii memories actually...)
@KidBoruto I'll probably give it a miss then. I enjoyed the original, though it felt oddly flat. Not enough to play a little bit of it again in VR.
...The way that aspects of LA Noire made their way into RDR2 made me wonder if there might be a playable cop character in the next GTA. GTA Noire anyone?
If there's a physical release and I've got spare pennies, I'll buy one and keep it sealed. (I'm seeing VR as the hottest retro-to-be market right now... though I've only actually donned the headset about twice in this past year.)

Re: Rumour: PS5 Will Represent the Biggest Jump in Computing Power of Any Console Generation
Course it's going to be the biggest jump. Moore's law, duh.

Re: Dreams Early Access Update Makes Browsing Creations Much Easier on PS4
Oh yeah! Now you can find my... "naive"... music and cartoons easier than ever

@WallyWest definitely on my never-ending to-do list

Re: Sony Has a '10 Year Vision' for Dreams, One of Shuhei Yoshida's Favourite Projects Ever
Personally, Dreams is the single most important piece of software I've ever used. I'm thrilled to hear it could remain relevant for up to ten years.
