This is not looking good for Saints Row. TLOU released on a Friday and Saints Row released on a Tuesday. Meaning SR had 3 extra days in it's debut week.
GameIndustryBiz reported that that Saints Row sold 5 times the amount of UK boxed copies in it's first week than Agents of Mayhem did in week 1 UK boxed sales back in 2017.
When you factor in that Agents of Mayhem took 6 MONTHS to sell 300,000 copies in GLOBAL sales, both digital and boxed ....it was an absolute FLOP...makes you wonder just how many copies SR has really sold.
With TLOU selling half the amount in opening week with 3 less days on market....and still knocking it off the number 1 spot. Looking very dire.
Deep Silver still have not given any sale figures for Saints Row. Back in 2013 they proudly stated 8 days after the release of Saints Row IV that it had passed 1 million copies sold globally.
Even more interesting is that a media outlet is comparing the sales to Agents of Mayhem as opposed to another previous mainline Saints Row game!!!!
@ATaco I'm not so sure on Horizon Forbidden West sales.
Sony have been radio silent on revealing any sale figures for over 6 months now.
It only took them 2 weeks after the release of Horizon Zero Dawn back in 2017 for Sony to proudly announce the game had sold 2.6 million copies.
Last year, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart did 1.1 million copies within 2 weeks and again ....Sony were quick to announce those figures.
Being completely quiet on Horizon Forbidden West sales 6 months after release ...raises a few questions in regards to if Sony are actually happy with it's performance. It's a big IP ....released on PS4 which has sold 117 million units and PS5 that's currently around 23 million units sold.
What were Sony's sale expectations for the game? And were they met?
Another thing that falls to question is ....how important are UK boxed sales? How much do they really contribute to the overall global sales (boxed and digital) of a game?

Foxys predictions are pretty much him stating the obvious and inevitable.... and he tries to act like nobody else predicted it....just like he did with PS4 Neo.
Fox also tries to act like he is above "fanboy" wars .....but just watching his Twitter account long enough will prove otherwise.
He has claimed to have lived in the USA for 8 years....living the life of this "bangin home gangsta with chicks on his arm" etc and came back to the UK in 2009. However in podcasts he has spoken of being there at the launch of the 2005 Xbox 360 UK launch when he got his 360......the 360 a REGION LOCKED console. He got his PS3 in the UK also. So buying UK consoles whilst supposedly living in the states as a "streetwise bad mofo" .....the guy is full of cr*p.
Fox desperately wants people to look up to him. He has had numerous conflicts with people who had called him out on his BS. When he knows he is wrong he makes excuses like he had given up smoking or something. His latest excuse for being a jerk to people is claiming he is bipolar.
Fox originally went by the name of PlaystationNewsNow ....where he built up his audience of PS fanboys by bashing on Xbox. Most of the people defending him here originate from that audience.
