Re: The Last of Us 2 Director Unsure of What's Next for Naughty Dog

RidingMower

Naughty Dog is the most talented developer on the planet, so whatever they end up doing is sure to be the best thing ever. Personally I enjoyed the Fallout games previous gen and am upset about how crappy Bethesda is handily screwing the Title this gen with Fallout 4 and 76. Even more let down that Obsidian Entertainment was bought out by the enemy. So in response I hope to see Naught Dog make a better Action Role-playing game.

Re: PS5's DualSense Controller Has Vastly Improved Analogue Sticks

RidingMower

@Sammy Check out the O-ring gaskets that the shell of the controller has that's housing those analog sticks. That is new, and looks to be there to silence the click-clack that occurs during play. I don't see anyone talking about that, yet you can clearly see that in those comparison photos you posted there.

Re: Snatch Sizeable PS4 Savings in New NA Flash Sale

RidingMower

Picked up Psychonaughts for the PS VR. It's nice they even included a bunch of PS VR titles to include in this sale. Since I'm newly adopted getting the awesome peripheral, I very much appreciate these great deals. I can afford to get more games.

Re: Fortnite PS4 Bundle Leaked at Just the Right Time

RidingMower

If someone wants a console to play Fortnite with, its a smart buy?
Your not forced into a online subcription, when you get it, to play Fornite (like you will on Xbox or Switch).

Ontop of that, it ll run better than on the Xbox One S / Switch, and its cheaper than the Xbox One X.

Non forced online subcription to play it is a huge advantage imo, much bigger deal than non crossplay with other consoles.
Esp if this is something ment for kids & teens.

Re: Review: Detroit: Become Human (PS4)

I already paid for the game. With a score of 7 I'm almost tempted to back out and wait for a hefty discount. Really like that PushSquare uses a star rating system. Don't like that I'm stuck here second guessing if you mean this game is Seven and a Half stars, or just Seven.

Because I had angry Nun teacher that would grade this like so..
7 graded as D
7.5 graded as a C-

It's hard to tell from these whole number scores that you do here whether it passed or failed.

This game was always going to get a broad mix of critic reviews spanning between liking and hating, but do you guys realize you made the more hating area of the reviewing list?

Re: Poll: Ultimate PlayStation Character Tournament: Top 16 - Matches 115-116

Recently got the Platinum for Nier: Automata. Seeing how stellar, fun, and awesome 2B's fighting was with playing her. She's got my vote. She kills enemies made out of steel, as in an alloy of iron, carbon and other elements. Last resort can even detonate herself and reanimate somewhere else. Kat doesn't stand a chance sadly when her powers are controlling gravity and falling on people. Either way, they are both awesome and fun. Needs a third voting option to call for a draw.

Re: Site News: Introducing Our Brand New Review Scoring System

RidingMower

@Stephen- I've got a real question to ask about the scoring used here with Push Square. Why do you use whole numbers when scoring games? I would think just by going to half-a-star rating would give more credit towards how in line you recommend crediting these Titles being reviewed are.

Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)

Happy that this game gets added to the PlayStation 4's library of games. That's a positive outlook to this. Hooray for more games! Woo-hoo that somebody else will buy this, because I'm sadly not interested in it. Hope it does well regardless.

Re: PSVR Price Drop Arrives in USA for a Few Weeks

RidingMower

I bought my PS4 camera a couple years back. It was totally worth the purchase to play the free Ninja bot games. Now I am ready to get more use out of it and ready to pick up that $199 PSVR set.

@Sammy- Can you post a link directly to that $199 model

Re: DriveClub Dev Considering Compensation Options for Disastrous Launch

RidingMower

I have this game and it is my favorite game to play currently. The single player portion works flawlessly and Vita remote play aswell. I'm not dissapointed because of the lack of online, even though it's what the games "driving" at. (ha ha,.. made a pun) I still think they did a great job at the game and the game play is solid.

Re: Will the PS4 Get a Price Cut Any Time Soon?

RidingMower

This momentum is great and we are going to be seeing more attention and better services because of this. Coming this early October, the new super servers are going to be turned on. We are going to really see Sony invest into tech for its PS4 and spring / summer we'll get price drop and morph at E3.

Re: Bumping The Last of Us Remastered's Framerate Will Cast a Slight Shadow

RidingMower

Why whine about it? You're all getting a choice in the game. You get to play on the most powerful console currently available. The game can't run anymore awesome on anyother console. This game scares the other brand name compatition and brings out trollers hardcore. Getting games on the PS4 is a good thing. Especially a highly praised one like this.
