For the love of God Bioware (or whomever undertakes a remaster) - take this great opportunity to revamp the ending, and by that I don't mean necessarily the controversial god-child ending - but instead I mean the fan-service series of jpegs shoe-horned in as an apology and half-assed effort to address the ending.
It needs to be redone properly as full FMV, with branching FMV dependant on (for example) if you spared the Arachnid Queen and her species, then her promise to stand by you in your time of need needs to be shown!, as things were left even if you spared her she was nowhere to be seen. Just reappraise all branching choices made and give a variety of different FMVs at the end dependant on which choices you made.
