@iamtylerdurden1 Well think about this for a second. My gaming setup is in my office. I have a dual monitor setup that I use for work and play (1440p 144hz). Multiple consoles running through a 4k hdmi kvm to one of those monitors (PS3, Switch, Super NT). The other HDMI port for the monitor would/should be my PS5, but it's still my PS4. Not ideal.
Due to wife and kids, I don't keep my gaming consoles in the family room with the big fancy 4k tv since they are using it most of the time.
So yes my setup is not like everyone else, but if I can use a 1080p display, and a 2160p display, why not a 1440p display. I don't care about running high refresh rates, just let me use it. It should be able to scale. So in the meantime my PS5 is still in the box.
Just be wary of spending money on games because the store is closing, at some point you will be unable to download those titles. I would like to think Sony may have a solution in the near future for these games (especially PS1). Possibly on PSNow
There are obviously a fair share of games from the PS1/PS2 era that don't age well, but for those that did, I would like a way to play them. As someone with a respectable retro collection, disc based games are tough to find in good playable condition. Many PS1 games have the potential to be lost if they are not brought back. Having a vita/ps3 has been great in this case (hacked or not). Being able to play Suikoden 2 and many others on these platforms keep them alive. The lack of these vast libraries on PS4, PS5, and PS Now is inexcusable.
The PS2 games that came to PS4 were great! I played Rogue Galaxy and the Jak series for the first time. Trophy support was an awesome addition as well.
I'll gladly wait for the next gen versions. Witcher 3 wasn't great at launch, so I'm sure there'll be some major patches the first couple months anyways
This happened to me more than a handful of times the first half (~6 hours) of my playthrough, no crashes the second half though. Solution, if it is one, I removed a disc from the drive since MM was a digital version. Hasn't happened since (~8 hours)
Anyone getting an upload error from PS4 Spider-Man? I have a disc copy of SpiderMan (2018). Installed, updated, go to upload the save so I can play ng+ on remastered and fail.
@CrispyMango92 the mission is What It Takes to Survive. Found the 3 security guards in the cave, then the researcher. Fought the miniboss, then no swarm. If I attempt to make my way back out of the cave I would get a warning for leaving the mission area, so I go back and nothing would happen. I watched a video walkthrough of how it should happen and nothing.
I really enjoyed my time playing Days Gone, but was unable to finish it due to a bug in one of the last missions. I could not get the Horde to load in the cave. Tried it half a dozen times before I gave up. Very unfortunate

Re: Feature: The 10 Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games of 2021, As Voted By You
@2cents I think we would've seen footage of some kind at this point if that were the case. GoW gameplay reveal was E3 2016, game released April 2018.
I think we have some time.
Re: Feature: The 10 Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games of 2021, As Voted By You
I didn't bother voting for GoW. There's no way it's coming out in 2021. I'll vote for it next year though
