Tsushima is easily one of my favourite games and was hyped for the sequel. However it was the story that really got me invested, it kicks off straight away and does not dissapoint so Yotei will have to be a sale purchase next year. Hopefully going in with less hype I will get more out of it!
Loved the first game but there were way too many fox shrines. The novelty of those wore off pretty quick. If they can make these kind of activities more varied I would be very happy. The hot springs and Haikus were a nice touch, so would not be annoyed if they found new ways of bringing in those meditate breaks into the new game. The main thing is it needs that gripping story line and cinematic feel of the original.
What is the point in moaning about the Pro, just be content that your happy with the base PS5 and move on with life. PC gamers make upgrades all the time and generally to improve performance of games they already play. This is just a little taste of that in console form. Don't want it? Do not buy... simple.
The fact that we now have these options should be a positive, there was a time when it would take up to a decade to purchase an improved console.
The saddest part is that they could have used a fraction of that money to make an awesome exclusive game that elevated gaming to new heights. Instead they bought someone else's just to keep making the same game over and over again... This is how sony can win in my eyes, creating original titles that takes gaming to the next level. That is where the investments should be going and of course new studios with solid potential.
Makes no difference to myself. Even if I wanted to play COD it would not be with a control pad. In all honesty I do not have the time to play games anywhere near as much as I use to. As long as Sony keep releasing a couple of jaw dropping games each year and there is enough 3rd part devs still around to drop some classics that's all I need.
I recieved my PS5 Digital yesterday morning, have used it heavily and find it to be silent in use. There is a very feint sound if I press my ear right up to the console, about the same as my Define S2 pc case which was not cheap. If you get a good one they have done an amazing job. Also I have had zero crashes and downloaded/installed several games, signed into all media apps that I have accounts for. I can finally play zero dawn without getting a headache from fan noise!
