@Kidfried I’m quite familiar with the story - not read the book but have seen various TV and film adaptations over the years. I did still enjoy it knowing what was going to happen, and whilst I think you’d probably get more out of it not knowing the end (that twist is iconic after all), there’s enough new content with the flashbacks and the new ending to be exciting for those familiar with it already!

@Toadie I have been thinking about getting a 3DS actually! Found one for £55 preowned the other day, pretty good deal I thought! I really want the Persona special edition one but I don’t think that’ll be happening! I’ve written down your recommendations! Thank you!

@Th3solution I am having fun with it, but I just seem to suck at it, and I'm already playing on normal and just feel weird about going to easy. I heard it's more like a visual novel on easy and there's not much actual gameplay? I did also hear that it eventually gets to a point where it doesn't seem quite so hard once I start levelling up more and such? My patience is very low lately, but I'm determined not to give up on it because I'm enjoying the story and I like the characters! cough9Scough

@Kogorn733 No problem! No, your criticism is valued, I really appreciate anyone taking the time to read what I've written, let alone make constructive comments. Your comments help me recognise what readers are looking for in reviews so I can bear that in mind for next time and improve my writing, so please don't apologise

There's no localised voice acting, it's a Japanese only VO with subs. I didn't notice any performance issues, everything seemed to work as it should and the load times between scenes seemed quick and painless.

I do think it was a fun game, and I did enjoy it. Is it the best JRPG I've played this year? No. But it was fun and I'm glad to have played it!

@Kogorn733 Hello, thanks for commenting! I'm sorry you didn't find the review helpful. The reason I didn't comment on the difference between the Vita version and this version is because I didn't play the Vita game, so didn't feel like I was qualified to comment. The sound of the game made very little impact on me to be honest, hence not mentioning in my review.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Glad you like my list ^_^ @get2sammyb it's definitely no Danganronpa, but it's still a really good mystery novel with a really good replay factor to get all the storylines and such. It feels a little obvious at times, where I think Danganronpa keeps you guessing a bit more, and it sort of tends to hold your hand at times and do things for you rather than let you figure out what you've got to do.

@consolfreak1982 This game definitely has disturbing moments. One whole story path is so completely left field, it just threw me. Not as much as Danganronpa or Virtue's Last Reward (which by the way is excellent, have fun playing!), but it's definitely up there at times!
