Already pre-ordered and ready to go 🔥 Got the Ultimate Edition so I can go back and played the original at 60fps.

Also curious about Dark Souls....never played the series so I pre-ordered as well 😅

If I'm gonna be locked at home, at least I will be entertained.

Things are CRAZY in Japan and everybody seems to be trying to get one. I was also surprised that in Akihabara there's ZERO marketing for it (a first).

Probably retailers not bothering to advertise it since it will probably be sold out for months.

I think the vast majority of fans are waiting for a sale 🤷‍♂️ I will definitely buy it for $39.

$59 feels way to high for what the game is offering.... hopefully by the time the PS5 releases next month I can grab this.

@SirAngry there's no "problem here". This was a stream with famous Japanese Youtubers intended for the Japanese market.

Makes me happy that things in Japan have been relatively organized.

I reserve with Amazon and they haven't said anything about delayed shipments.

Also the Sony Store is holding 2 rounds or preorders: one for existing customers and one for the general public (that clearly says to expect to receive the console after launch).

Hopefully people who pre-ordered wom't wait long.

@RicksReflection totally reliable. I've bought from them many times before (even for this particular deal) with no problems. I live in Japan and they were even able to send the verification code to my Japanese cellphone.

I don't think it's an ideal situation but also not a huge problem for me. The moment this was announced, I sold my copy of Spiderman for PS4 and got $20.

That pays to upgrade my version of Miles Morales to the Ultimate Edition 🤷‍♂️

Would I like to see it as a few upgrade? Yes. But it would create a different kind of mess. Would you have to keep the PS4 disc inside the PS5?

I'm honestly surprised that the final Hardware design didn't leak at all! It was really cool to see the reveal during their last presentation.

Hoping for more moments like that next week.

Last time we got the PS4 four months late and Japanese gamers were Not happy about it since Sony is a Japanese company.

The PS4 is sold out EVERYWHERE around here....makes you wonder if they are using all their manufacturing capacity to make PS5's or if they have been really affected by the pandemic.

I guess we will find out once preorders start.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game passes a million copies in Japan. It is still sold out everywhere (Amazon Japan will deliver mid August).

The PS4 did really well during the pandemic here since most people are working from home. Tons of people I know got PS4's just for FFVII.

I felt it was really underwhelming.

I watched it with an open mind trying to see what Microsoft was planning but it was a bit of a mess.

Halo is by far their biggest IP, yet it had a MEDIOCRE showing with tons of glitches (pop-in, shadow issues, poor animations).

Fable is arguably the other big release....but it's also pretty niche and they barely showed anything.

The rest was mostly meh......nothing show there will tempt Nintendo or Song fans to jump ship.

Maybe that's why they REALLY tried to highlight that all the games are free with gamepass...."not the games you want, but hey! They're free**!"

In Japan, this is still a big deal. I live in Tokyo and I tried preordering Online yesterday and the game is sold out everywhere.

Now I see why.....
