@Max_the_German absolutely. I love my PSVR2 but the lack of Astrobot news is concerning. At least just confirm that it is happening.....even an enhanced port.

As long as Mark Cerny is on board we are good. I swear that man delivers the hardware we need.

Jim Ryan was not particularly likeable and probably made many decisions that were not popular, but honestly necessary (like the $70 price point).

My main concern was his obsession with GaaS. The fact that we have gotten so few first party titles three years in is really concerning and probably related to this.

I have lived in Tokyo for over 10 years and Kabukicho is always fun! I still haven't checked the new Kabukicho Tower but hopefully soon!

Sadly many areas in Tokyo were really affected by the pandemic and a complete lack of tourism for almost three years. The Robot Restaurant in Kabukicho will forever be missed D:

@EfYI I live in Tokyo so my house is hardly big and I have no issues playing this on PSVR2. I absolutely love it! Really good tracking and good visuals. Also on sale (I think it still is) and totally worth the $22.

My PSNow subscription was due to expire next month, so I just added a year for $69. Hopefully this means I will get an automatic year of Premium.

Hopefully doing better than Deep Down and the Panga Rhei engine 😅

People can say what they want, but their strategy has been working for a while.

I mean.....they have gotten a lot more of Insomniac in 2 years than Microsoft from Rare in 20 🤷‍♂️ (and even paid less).

As a PS5 user who also owns a Series S, my main request would be a Quick Resume function similar to the Xbox.

Being able to suspend games without closing them is a godsend if you share your console.

Games like Borderlands 3 and Returnal make it difficult to stop playing without losing tons of progress.

Just finished it today. Surprisingly good game.

Not so long but very well crafted. I felt like the new skills could've been improved and a dash instead of a roll would've improved mobility (and an air dash like Returnal).

Still, 8/10 from me.

Very impressive coming from a tiny studio.

P.S. the final boss is pretty spectacular.

Much better than what SquareEnix tried to do with FFXV. Play the game, watch the anime series, go to the cinema and watch the movie and the story MIGHT make sense.

Yamauchi San has given ONE interview and people already mad about the lack of ray tracing and online requirement.

Hopefully he won't be asked "how many tracks and cars can we expect?"

Or "Are you recycling assets from previous games?"

The only way to stop Rockstar is by NOT buying this game....and sadly that will probably not happen 🙄

About time! We need God of War, GT7, FFXVI and maybe some surprises. We know they are NOT coming out this year...and might even be late 2022 releases, but they should have enough to at least give us some information.

Hopefully they have some titles coming this year (like when they announced that Demons Souls was a launch title out of nowhere).

I guess it wins by default since the genre has seen better days. Just finished it since it was free on Gamepass.

I would say 6/10. Some of the story elements are interesting but the gameplay is a disaster. The characters walk ridiculously slow (to extend playtime?) and the puzzles are beyond basic.

Basically, a door is closed....look for a key (often in the same room) and open the door. Even the "two realities" add close to nothing to the experience from a gameplay perspective.

Maybe a decent buy for $20. Anything more and you will ñikely be disappointed.

Hopefully this is not accurate. Hitman 2 is great but it was available on PS Now for a while.

Overcooked is popular but also pretty much a mobile game.

Hopefully rumor about Tony Hawk being one of the games is true.

Seems like I will finally play the expansion Frozen Wilds. I bought it but somehow never played it.....then decided to wait for PS5 improvements.

@Daleaf make sure you check Sunset Overdrive! It's THE one Xbox game I always wanted to play.

I got 3 years of GamePass for $80 (around $2.20 a month). There is no way in hell that business model is sustainable 😅

Good to hear! I was a little worried about this game but it seems like the team managed to deliver.

As a PS5 user, I'm glad I pulled the trigger and got a Series S as a GamePass machine for this kind of game.

(Specially since there's no release date for a PS5 version, only PS4)

Rumors point to a State Of Play this Thursday....hopefully this means it is true since the PS5's release calendar is looking a little sad ATM.

I mean, we all expect Horizon to be delayed at this point.....so, what's coming this year?

Absolutely hideous month.

As a PS5 owner (and loyal PS fan) I just bought a Series S to use as a Gamepass machine between big Sony releases.

This month I'm getting Psychonauts 2, Flight Simulator and Hades....I also got 24 months of Game Pass Ultimate for $50 (there's NO WAY this is a sustainable business).

Still, PS Plus must do better to compete.

Balan Wonderworld already at $20 and it still feels like a ripoff 😅

I'm curious about this game. To me it looks like the art direction will be great, but the gameplay looks dated and....cheap (like a Kickstarter).

I expect 75ish metacritic.

I've always been a PS fan but this week I got a Series S to uses as a secondary console for Game Pass.

I am happy to play this for $10....not sure it is a full price release like Ratchet & Clank

@Stragen8 mostly quality of life improvements. From the instant loading screens after you die to the ability to send overstock back to the nexus for storage.

Also the game runs at a locked 60fps vs 20ish

I went from HATING the first 3 hours (I swear I couldn't even make it to the first boss without dying) to getting the Platinum.

Such a brilliantly crafted game!

Hopefully BluePoint is working on other AAA IP like Metal Gear Solid, Bloodborne or even Silent Hill.

Playing this after Ratchet & Clank was painful 😅 feels like a cancelled PS3 game that is being "remastered"

It is clear that Microsoft is throwing money at the problem and they are willing to do whatever it takes even if they never make a profit.

The title is quite misleading.

A few weeks ago, we all expected this game to FLOP. I honestly didn't think it would make it to the top 20.

Then glowing previews came out, and then great reviews. It opened just behind Pokemon Snap (huge IP, huge install base, cheaper price, etc).

I think Sony and Housemarque will be pleased with the results.

I live in Japan and the game is also sold out.

Just got my copy in Japan (US physical version of the game) and had no problem upgrading.

I am liking it so far! It is more Crash without big changes (but with some new mechanics) and that is exactly what I wanted.

Maybe they can do a Hybrid system similar to Disney +?

I don't think it's reasonable for them to offer their new games for free on release....but for example, Returnal being a $40 release for PS Plus users would probably work.

They would still get revenue, and also push people to join their subscription model.

Maybe releasing around the same time as Deep Down 🙄

Looks surprisingly decent 🤔 one of those games that would have DIED as $70 releases but have a decent opportunity as free PS Plus games.

Hopefully it gets good reviews to attract enough players.

I love that they keep surprising us. New IPs (Ghost of Tsushima) and full reboots that surprised fans (like God of War).

Even the awesome Demon's Souls remake came out of nowhere as a launch title.

We have a very similar taste and I loved all the games you mentioned. Personally, I would've included Ghost of Tsushima instead of FFVII.

I never played the original but I loved the new battle system. However, the level design felt extremely basic and dated....and I also was not a fan of the unidimensional characters.

The Last Of Us 2? Absolutely Game of the Year for me...and probably of the generation.

Not bad! Hopefully Sony will merge PS Plus and PS Now in the future to better counter GamePass

Just finished Demons Souls today and it's a truly amazing remake. I also had tons of guides to help me and even then, it was a HUGE challenge (specially the first 5 hours or so). Beautiful game, runs incredibly well, great music....A+

And the Last Of Us 2, I agree about the weird negativity surrounding it. It is not a particularly "fun" game, but it's clearly one of the best games ever made. The animation, the characters, the way it makes you feel and think....I think it's absolutely one of PlayStation's best games.

I remember reading how the $70 price tag would kill this game.

I think it just has a lot more to prove. I've been playing Demon's Souls for a month now and I think the price is justified.

Will the same apply to Returnal? We will find out.

This is a mess. There's no way in hell they will fix it within a few weeks/months on last gen consoles.

At this point, I might at it for $30 once the PS5 version drops.

Sadly Sony's messaging has been all over the place with PS5 VR support. I actually sold my PSVR when they announced only PS4 versions of games would be supported with few enhancements.

Been using mine since launch every day and so far it runs really well. The only minor issue I've had is the system going into "rest mode" by itself. Hopefully this will fix that (I read that rebuilding the database also helps without deleting any files).

Very solid headset overall. Super comfortable, very good sound and solid battery life. Zero connection issues.

Just a very good product at a very agreeable price.

I just got my PS5 and I'm so tempted, but I haven't downloaded any of them so I can focus on Miles Morales and Demon's Souls (just finished Astro's Playroom...the final level is one of the very best things I've ever seen).

I will probably buy an external SSD to put all the PS4 games and save the internal space for PS5 games.

The PSVR on PS5 messaging has been a mess. I sold my PSVR when they announced that only PS4 versions of games would be compatible and now this?

Hopefully a PSVR2 is coming at some point with better tracking, controllers and (fingers crossed) wireless.

Might be pushing it, but I would love Oculus Quest 2 compatibility with a wire 🤷‍♂️

I love how transparent Sony has been with their release schedule. I'm totally fine if they end up being delayed a few months, but way better than having games disappear for years without any updates.

Can't wait for my PS5 to arrive in just 2 more days!

@viciousarcanum the problem is that the PS4 couldn't keep up. The frame rate was VERY uneven, that's why the patched it to max at 30 FPS.

Interesting that this game has a different embargo....wouldn't be surprised if they are dropping all reviews around the Series X/S release date.

@LiamCroft well, they did say that VR only works with PS4 versions of games, so unless this game is also coming to PS4, VR support is not happening.
