Re: Rumour: Sony Targeting AAA Titles for Stunning Next-Gen PS5 VR Headset

@Carl-G From what I have read the attach rate of games and peripherals is a lot higher for vr users. That may contribute.
Another thing to consider is companies can hire the extra resource requirement also so it's not necessarily "cutting in to" the development of non vr games. I guess one concern is flat games that also support vr take a hit on the flat version mechanics to support both without making people feel sick or even to make vr more fun/engaging. Some games have added vr support after the fact though so might not be a problem.

@Kidfried Agreed on some of the randomers you get grouped with being unbearably toxic. So much easier to find nice people to group with where possible.
The loot boxes were overall non intrusive. They have since been replaced with blueprints. If you like the octane or one of the stock cars and are happy not chasing skins/aesthetics you can absolutely ignore them and just concentrate on the game.

@Dragonfly84 It can be done right. Rocket league has this model and it's really not intrusive. You pay for the game and if you like you can add skins. The only time I disagree with this model is when throwing money at the game puts you at an advantage to other people and effectively forcing you to pay more to be competitive. Which doesn't seem to be the case.

@Olmaz Dual shock actually faded into the background for me. I liked the rumble but wouldn't have been able to explain why. Then one day a bug in rocket league meant I felt no rumble when I used boost. It completely threw me off my game. Was so happy when it was fixed. Would tend to agree on light bar would be nice to be able to turn off but really need it for psvr so happy they have that too.
