Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for June 2024?

Not much there for me to get excited about, but I am curious to see what PSVR2 games they add in the future, I'm glad they've started doing that.

Extra is trash this month, but Premium is decent.

Crap, once again.

Some decent games but nothing I'm interested in.

I really wish I could get into Monster Hunter.. but even the upcoming one looks so outdated.. their lips don’t even come close to matching up to the voices and the gameplay looks choppy..

Might give MH: Rise a try again.. but idk.. not the best month for sure

Rubbish month. A switch port and several strategy games with tiny UIs.

I probably won't play any of these, but I'm currently playing Eiyuden Chronicle Rising from Plus and I've got Disco Elysium, Animal Well and Sifu on the backlog burner, so I'm not going to sit here complaining about the service.

@kailun Strange attitude to have when the website is asking for people's opinions but if someone doesn't like it they shouldn't say anything? Is it not entirely possible that they do buy games and also, for some people, they might have already bought some of the games on the list so it would be a crap selection for them. Or, they are entitled to complain about a product they pay for.

More things to not add to my library.

Wish Sony would introduce an 'online play only' option tier to PS+ for about £3 a month and then those of us who won't miss these games can use online and not be bothered with anything else (apart from PS5 save backups?)

I absolutely hated Monster Hunter when I tried to play it as a melee fighter. To me the game just feels way too clunky for that but once I became a heavy bowgun user the game changed completely for me. Not saying it'll fix any problems you might have with it but you might just enjoy ranged combat more.

Same for me. Couldn't get into it. Not much of a story either.
I should probably stick with it, but if it takes 10 hours to finally enjoy something, then I'm out lol

After Us was the one I had been interested in. Mid reviews discouraged me from actually buying it so I'm glad to give it a go. I like artsy floaty games like Journey. There's enough good stuff from the past few months I'm still working on so I'm content.

Lets be honest, if you are premium and you never buy any physical games, You will never need to buy any game in all the year.
But a collector like me. most of the games they upload monthly i have them or i dont care about it.
At the end i am happy with premium because there lot of games i would never buy them or play them, but on extra or premium i tried them and liked some and others no.

Crusader Kings is a decent game if you're into historical, deep strategy stuff. Other than that, this is a pretty bare collection. It's sad to think that it's also the most appealing to me this year, so far.

I think this is the first month ever I have no interest in any Extra games but really pleased to get be getting Kayak VR on Premium. So overall I am very happy!

@Jacko11 Thier expectations are vastly unrealistic. I would love to see a list from these people so I can try to understand just how ludicrous their expectations are, would be fun

@Danbottomburp more importantly, many of them fail to realize that their ideal or a merely good list would be considered "garbage" by someone else. You really can't please everyone, especially when you run a business and want to remain profitable.

@naruball By far my favourite retort is that they've already bought the games Sony are giving others for free so its a bad month, it was clearly a great game so much so that they purchased it but when it's given away for free the service is terrible because they already own it hahaha never fails to make me laugh

PSVR2 games coming to Premium = phenomenal months

@sanderson72 If you're not interested in the Extra and Premium games, drop down to the Essential tier. You'd have to be incredibly unlucky to make it through an entire year and not get your money's worth from that.

@thefourfoldroot1 I just hope they don't discourage (us) the few owners from buying new PSVR2 games. So far, I have bought all the ones that have been available on plus.

I think that there are always those which we would try if on plus but not otherwise due to time constraints. For example the ghostbusters game in my case. If they earn from people buying the DLCs and such after finding they like the games that’s more money in their pocket. I can see that happening with games like Ghostbusters sites, synth riders, the mini-golf game etc.

Of course there are some, like Walking Dead 2, that ie old have got to eventually (still have to finish the first) and which k don’t now have to buy. But I guess that may depend on how long they stay on plus.

Coulda given sunbreak as well basterds, been more than three years since launch already 😂

Monster Hunter Rise is one of my favorite Switch games and I'll be giving it a play on PS5 now just to see how it compares (probably not many differences other than graphics). Also can't wait to play Daxter again, great platformer that still holds up well for the most part.

Downgraded to essential in march and haven’t looked back. I don’t need day one releases, but at least stuff that came out in the last year.

I was excited to finally play MH rise on PS5 but I felt it was a better deal to get the deluxe bundle with the expansion sunbreak instead from the recent sale which only cost me £17 in total and I can keep it forever and take my time with it, it's a nice improvement compared to the switch version I've been playing on the go

@Cherip-the-Ripper that's why I just got the bundle which includes sunbreak anyways as playing the extra version with it not included is an huge loss

I'm now more happy with premium because we get to play free PSVR2 and Legend of Dragoon. the rest is not that interesting for me

I truly don't understand premium.

But I truly truly don't understand is Playstations out of touch thinking with this service.

Extra is a great service and serves a great purpose but premium should be just an absolute beast of nostalgia and yet they treat it like just another essential couple of games a month service.

To add more insult to injury, they are putting psvr2 games behind the premium pay wall?
They should all be on extra.

Playstation the 1 company who can make amazing secondary tech and never actually support it.

They really need to either put everything they have into their secondary tech or just dont even bother.

Shame the success they had with psvr 1 and this is what they do.

Some of these games I've had on PC for years Farcry 4 especially the rest I'm not interested in one bit I really may just drop down to the lowest tier because I just play Helldivers 2 online that's it and the rest are single player
