Many, many moons ago I played (and Platinum'd) Assassin's Creed Odyssey, thoroughly enjoying it. However, it was done with physical media, so if I wanted to go back and enjoy it, I would need the disc again? There was a free weekend that recently happened, but only now, when they reveal the Valhalla crossover, do I want to play it again.
I did just purchase in the PSN store the "Assassin's Creed® Odyssey Deluxe Edition", thinking that would give me license to play the game, but it doesn't look like it did? (even though, on the receipt it says "full game")
@SnowWolf75 If you still had the disc version installed when buying the digital one, you'll most likely have to delete the game and download it from the store. Your saves should remain on the console when doing it (if you have PS Plus you can back them up in the cloud just to be sure).
@Voltan I DO have PS+, so that sounds like an option. It was installed on the Extended Storage (of my PS5), so I'll have to make sure I delete only the correct things.
Yeah I bought Horizon Zero Dawn not long after getting a ps5, and only really put in a couple of hours or so.
I claimed it free back when it was free for anyone with a PSN account earlier this year, but I had to delete the install and re-install from PSN if I wanted to play without the disc (which I did)
Well, so far, so good. Deleted the app and am in the process of redownloading it. Saves are backed up to the cloud, but I probably have a local copy that wasn't affected by the delete. I'll check back in a little bit.
