I really want VR to succeed because since 3D graphics, gaming hasn't had any kind of seismic shift in both they are presented and played, motion controls ended up being an way of playing traditional games. And 3D? Well....
VR though I can see so much potential.

I think there's a lot of questions that still need answering in terms of what works, and what doesn't for VR, but having had a go on PSVR I'm happy to be in. Pretty much just so I can be part of that journey.

@Rudy_Manchego: @belmont: @AlexStinton for the votes! Its looking like the psvr will be a success with a huge gap of 7 votes :/

@adf86: You and Rudy are on the same page I think, I feel that the tech is too much hassle to use -only time will tell roll on EGX so I can see for myself.

Pretty much the same point - I think of the leap between the 16bit Gen to PS1 & PS2. That really changed gaming forever. Since PS2 era, I feel that we have been refining and improving the same games to a certain extent. 3D might (I say might) change that and mean developers have another dimension to tailer to games.

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

@dryrain: Agreed. It was a victory for lies and rubbish, obviously we cant talk politics here, and rightly so. But in this case the lies, deceit and horrible people involved have really put our Great British Isles in jeopardy. What a result

Hopefully any other votes can be run by decent people not out to feather their own nests on both sides of the argument.

@themcnoisy: Agree - trying to keep the politics out of this but virtually impossible, I hope that it's a big wake up call to the EU and that they 'change' some of their policies so we do a u-turn and don't actually leave...

Incidentally there is a petition for a 2nd EU referendum with over 160,000 signatures - 100,000 and the Government will consider it for a debate... If interested the petition is here

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

It's stupid on those wanting another referendum just because they didn't get the result they wanted, that isn't democracy. I voted leave because for far too long this country has not properly governed it's laws or borders due to the EU.

@adf86: I agree, although I voted remain. Its tough, suck it up, a decision is a decision. The only real worry is that Scotland, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar are shortly going to be adrift of GB. Cant wait for that

I don't think anyone who voted in this referendum seen this coming. I think that's the point. We've been spun on immigration and more money into the nhs. Well the latter has been struck down already by Farage and the millions of ex pats all around Europe will be forced to return..... To Great Britain. So much for lowering immigration.

Man what a nightmare, but we will get through it.

The only benefit I can see is that it proves to people that you can make a difference and it's important to get out and vote. A dark day anyway, I'm off to throw myself in traffic.

@adf86: Its not the place to discuss politics really but it has split the country too. The vote was close and it looks as though the UK could well be split up with Northern Ireland and Scotland seeking to leave to rejoin the EU. 92% also opted to remain in the EU in Gibraltar and they could opt to to rejoin Spain. If that happens, Britain is hardly that big and could be an easier target for terrorists - no EU protection.

The vote could be seen as a vote of no-confidence in the political party as much as the ramifications of leaving EU. Like I said personally I would prefer that it shakes up the EU in terms of immigration and asylum seekers rather than actually end up leaving the EU because on a lot of other issues, EU has been beneficial to us. Would you have felt the same way had the vote been so close the other way or accepted that only 26% of the overall population has decided your future? About 1/3rd of the eligible voters had decided the fate of the nation? If just over half a million of those voters had voted the other way, the decision would have been the other way - that shows how close it was effectively and those have wiped millions off the stock market, sunk the value of the pound down to its lowest since 1985. Its not like we manufacture a lot here either so costs will rise - hope you weren't thinking of travelling abroad anytime soon.

If this is very much the way Britain feels as in Leave the EU now that they have sent a vote of no-confidence to both Brussels and the Political leaders of the UK, then a second Referendum would reflect that. In the cold light of day now the ramifications of this are more clear now, as well as all those who thought their 'vote' wouldn't matter actually bother voting this time, a second vote could be more clear cut either way...

@BAMozzy: Unfortunately that's just wishful thinking. Borris and Gove will not agree to another referendum. Its done. PSVR will now be £50 more expensive lol.
