@Th3solution Yeah, I'm lvl39 and I don't think I've hung on to any of the gear I've picked up. The gun that fires swords is cool though!
I just spent 90 minute trying to find my way out of the Lair after failing so miserably at the raid boss. The map and mini-map are so useless on multi-level areas.
I hope you give it another go though; I need a raid buddy to get that last DLC trophy
Just got through Krom's Canyon myself today. Also had a Hellfire drop from a normal bandit which I was super excited, to bad it's a level 30 though it's still such a great gun for Lilith.
I finished the Hammerlock DLC today and it was pretty meh really. I think I spoilt myself by playing the Tiny Tina one first though. This was much shorter and the main story much less interesting but did involve a character from the Pre-Sequel (even though his first appearance was in this DLC).
One frustration though was that the armoury you reach at the end of the DLC has loads of loot crates which is way more than you can carry but the area is locked out once you leave the map
I think I've almost had my Borderlands fill so I'm going to go straight to the new DLC and then call it a day. It doesn't help that the game seems to have capped things at lvl30-35 for the DLC when I'm above that. Enemies are still tough but give next to no XP any more and the only gun upgrades I've had have been from using golden keys.
@Thrillho Yeah I've had my Borderlands fill for now. Probs won't get the third game at launch now and wait till a bit later when I've got the itch back again.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@Thrillho Ah no not yet. Totaly forgot about that tbh. I started a level 30 character with the intention to, but was too deep into the Pre-sequel. I loved Tales, probably my fave Telltale game.

I'm also a bit indifferent to this one. The story was a bit all over the place but I did like that Vaughan from the Telltale game made an appearance. There was also a reference to Scooter's death from the Telltale game which I'd forgotten about. The new loot tier was useless to me because of the level cap so the gear was worse than anything I already had.
It was good to have the main cast altogether again but there wasn't anything particularly special here. The ending was also a bit odd and I'm not sure if it'll be of any consequence as they lose the vault key which seemed a bit of an odd thing to completely undo the ending of the main game.
This was fine as a freebie (at the time I got it) but I wouldn't recommend spending money on it.
Started the Fight for Sanctuary DLC tonight, I am playing Maya, my son is playing Kreig. Wanted to start it up and finish it before BL3 comes out in a few days, that and the BL hype is going crazy for me. Anyone know how long this DLC is time wise?

First time through its pretty decent length, but you easily have time to finish it before the 13th.
I am really enjoying the Fight for Sanctuary DLC. I really like how they tied everything up with BL2, and Tales from the Borderlands and then introduce us to 3. They did a great job.

So quick question I hope someone can answer this. I never got around to playing the Dragon Keep DLC on the Handsome Collection however they have it as a stand alone now. I remember back with the DLC you need to be a minimal of level 30 to stand a chance but how does that work with the Stand alone? Do they automatically boost you to level 30 or is everything downgrade to level 1??
Just wanted to know before I purchase it.

@Tasuki so I don't know the specific answer to your question... but I did read that someone platinum'd it quite quickly (around 6 hours if memory serves) and without much difficulty.
If that info is correct, there must be some 'allowance' made to legislate for it now being a standalone.
@Tasuki Yeah, my understanding is that it’s scaled somehow to allow for starting the content cold. I think I read somewhere about the progression being accelerated so you gain experience at a much faster rate.
