@Thrillho Man, I got all that stuff done on like Day 5! The game opens up a lot though on Day 3, the water lock is finally open and you can go past. If you need a hint for where the map is then just ask!
I passed a 28% rhetoric skill check to open the door of the mysterious container I craned down in the harbour. I went inside but can’t do anything in there. Can’t talk or interact with anything. Can I come back later with higher perception or something or are things not right? It feels like I should be able to do something in there.

@nessisonett okay cool. It’s such a bizarre game at times, I’m just going with the flow. Considering my terrible luck with rolling, I was pretty stoked to pass it and then...confused. I’ll just keep on bumbling around like the equal parts ultraliberal communist sorrycop that I’ve become...though Kim apparently trusts me so that feels like a win.

@Jimmer-jammer Yeah I ended up about 2 thirds Communist and 1 third ultraliberal. I wanted to eat the rich but I also really liked money and was always hustling 😂
@Jimmer-jammer I save scummed to see what was in there and I had a voice call me to enter. It’s quite an odd encounter once you’re in.. (I reloaded to my save before getting in though).
And to you both, I have such an odd collection of thoughts I can research which are all rather contradictory! I am very tempted by Art Cop though..
@Thrillho yeah I had the voice call me in, even his name come up with text and all that, but inside there is nothing to do except watch my real jump around like the stock market...it’s weird.
I only have 3 thoughts currently equipped, one of which (hobo cop) I’ve done nothing with outside of boosting tare value (I’ve not added any points to shivers). This first play through has been a mess of figuring things out but also feels pretty right haha I can’t wait to do another, more focused run through and really mess around with the mechanics. I’m at the end of day two and judging by some of what you and @nessisonnett have written, I’m gonna need a lot more that 5 days!

@Jimmer-jammer@Thrillho Just checking, but do you both hold down L1 to see what you can interact with? If the guy inside the container has talked to you then you should be able to talk to him by selecting the centre of the light bending effect.
@nessisonett yeah I’ve pretty much been playing it like a point and click by holding L1 and only moving around if I have to. I’ll try again tonight but last night I wasn’t having any luck in there, though it was late and I was tired.

@nessisonett interesting. Yeah I had the crazy light bending effect and the light bending rich guy call me in but for some reason I couldn’t find anything to interact with. I didn’t mess around much with it or even exit and re enter...hopefully it was just me being an idiot and not the game.

@Thrillho Oh dear. Holding L1 puts a glowy green outline around every interactible on the screen. Which includes things that you can’t interact with without holding down the button, which is quite a few objects.
@Thrillho Oh man, you’ve probably missed out on a lot of interactibles hahaha but it’s working out for you! There really should be some sort of tutorial.
