So I'm moving to the States in less than a week, and I'm wondering whether my current UK PSN account will transfer or I'll have to cancel it and open a NA account. Any ideas?
Repeat after me:
I cannot control the future.
I am going to die.
And I am never going to finish all of my unplayed games.
@AirFive352: There's no option to change the region you have to make a new account. Sorry mate.

You should be fine, lots of people have both a UK account and a US account, some even open up a Japanese account as well. Any games you purchase on different accounts can still be played so no need to worry. Good luck with the move.
btw, you're looking at your accounts the wrong way. Let a pro (i've had tons of accounts) tell you the right way to handle your ps4 accounts. d(^_^ )
Ok, so you only really need 1 main account. This is the account that you buy all of your games with. I'm not sure what localization is, but if you feel like the U.S. gets games sooner and cheaper, and that's something you feel is worth splitting your purchases over, then you'll get 2 main accounts, a U.S. and a UK. otherwise, stick with your Uk account.
Never play any games on that account. Instead, use it only for purchases, dlc, ps+ and for redeeming codes. Never share this account because it will be tied directly with the console you game on.
Now, create as many accounts as you want. As long as your main account is still there, than all of your other accounts will be able to take advantage of it. Want a new screen name for Star Wars? create a new account. Want to start over with your trophies? make a new account. Trying to get rid of a stalker? new account!
And as long as you don't get rid of your main account, you can just delete your dummy accounts as often as you can make new emails, and you'll never ever lose your games, dlc, or subscriptions.
btw, the only thing that doesn't get shared across accounts is avatar icons. weird, huh.
edit on second thought, you might want to create a U.S. account as a 2nd main account anyways, because it is near impossible to get a UK playstation network card for money or ps+ and you can't us a credit card if the region is set to a different country than where the card has been issued. sorry.
