Topic: Playstation Hits Content

Hello all,
I wondered if anyone could help me. Do playstation hits titles like Driveclub or Gran Turismo Sport come with title updates (the free ones) or even DLC on the disc?

If Driveclub has the weather or some of the free tracks that would be brilliant.

@mrjelly Unless is specifically stated on the box that it is something like a Complete Edition, like Horizon Zero Dawn, it will be the standard edition with no extra DLC that did not come with that version of the game. Even the free stuff you will most likely have to download from the store. With updates, unless there have been any since that disc was issued that it should have the latest update file.

@mrjelly Driveclub has the weather in the base game. You may need an update though.

There is a racetrack in India which is absolutely brilliant. Starts off sunny and gets gloomier lap 2-3, by lap 4 it's a torrential downpour and it plays so different. The wet ground starts to dry up laps 5 to 7. Best track in the game imo. Everything about it, the amazing colours of India then heading into the worst horror movie of all time before coming out the other end.

@JohnnyShoulder @mrjelly The multiplayer is important in DC too, joining a club and racking up points! With that omitted it would be a worse overall experience.

The SP content is great and worthy of purchase, although I am unsure how much the lack of online connectivity effects Driveclub - it was always meant to be a persistent service* and I haven't played it for years. The base game stuff is great, then again I did play 5 or 6 dlcs so that may be swaying my memory of the game.

*so I checked and due to offline being off - a bunch of cars never unlock although from memory the campaign stuff is usually specific cars you have to use. You can still download the dlc - how you would buy it I have no idea other than a game shop in Italy which is still selling it.

Anyhow I have snagged myself another physical copy on reading this thread so thank you!
