It's just a shame they couldn't stick a couple of Move controllers in the box really. Now designers won't be able to build their games with motion controls in mind.
@dryrain: I wouldn't buy anything second hand with built-in rechargeable batteries. You don't know how many charges they have had, whether they have been charged properly to prolong life etc. I think they are about £30 new anyway. As the VR headset isn't out til Oct, you could buy now (or one every month or two) in preparation. Maybe even pick them up after.
On Amazon you can get the camera (£42 - currently 4 left) and 2 Move controllers (£29.99 each - more stock from 21/03/16) for just over £100 - this makes 'everything' inc the Headset (£350) around £452.
Reviews of oculus rift have been terrible so far from mainstream media. Immersion breaking, pointless, uncomfortable, isolated from the outside world etc etc. Gaming websites on the other hand have been favourable, but those same websites were buzzing about oculus 2 years ago. I'm actually really disappointed, next up reviews of the HTC vive. Hopefully this headset will be a lot better.
