Topic: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PS4)

Hi,
I was hoping someone could tell me more about the concept of "killing ingeniously" in Sekiro? (from what we know so far about the game)
Will there be unique and distinctive ways to "slaughter your prey"?
Will it allow you quite a lot of "creative freedom" in that respect?
Just tell me more about it, please

I watched a twitch stream that was convinced the voice actor of the prince at the start was Ash’s voice actor from Pokémon. Looking to confirm

@Kyroki I expect it of both of them to be honest. It's Ubisoft that rile me. They seem like they should know better.

I'm not in a hurry to pick this one up yet, but I'll get it eventually. There's not a whole lot to look forward to in the latter half of this year, so that's a perfect time for something like this.

@Mega-Gazz I believe it's a woman doing voice of Ash in the anime.

@Octane very possible - may be the same woman doing the boy prince?

@Mega-Gazz Do you have a link? Is it like a small child? I'm thinking of some kind of Final Fantasy character, and with that voice it sounds very silly.

@Octane yes, it is a child. I saw it on VaatiVidya’s twitch stream. They actually changed to the Japanese language because of it. I’m skeptical, but curious.

I just picked a copy up coz screw it, one of those days - need something to look forward to.

I want this game but I just won't get to it for ages.

I must admit, this one has largely passed me by - far less interested after the fact when I realised that it was a From Software game.

Seen a fair amount of it now. Doubt I'll ever get it.

I hope it has that same brutal wall that Bloodborne served up. I really enjoyed not knowing what I was doing for several days when I got that.

I can't wait to play this. Hoping to get it in the next few months

Well, I’ve only played the first 45 minutes but it’s got that same classiness that Bloodborne had about it. Impressive stuff, so far.

@kyleforrester87 How is the movement and the hook shot mechanic?

@Octane only recently got the hook shot, seems good so far, it’s all a bit Metal Gear Solidy to be honest.
