You have to buy the Temerian horse armour from the merchant that you save from the Griffin. He should be in the very first village in White Orchard, near the bridge. Costs quite a lot of coin if I remember right, though. Free DLC my arse!

Im loving the game so much, all sidequest are interesting, the arc stories are great and every place has something that add to the overall feeling of the game
But... i wish the world was 1 big map and not "mini maps".

I'm finding it hard to shut off haha. Like I said in one of the articles on here nothing feels like filler. Everything is meaningful be it main or side quests or just exploring.
I picked this up yesterday, just played for a couple of hours so far. First impressions are it obviously looks great and runs better than I thought it would. Any further patches to enhance performance would be welcome but not exactly essential. I've done a few quests and already I like the characters more than in, say, Dragon Age and feel a bit more invested in what's going on. The facial animations really do add a lot.
I can't say I'm absolutely blown away by it (yet) or that it will become anymore than good/great but hopefully it'll keep me interested through its entirety (like Red Dead) and I don't stop playing 3/4 the way through (like GTA5).

For me this game just keeps getting better and better. I assume you are in White Orchard at the moment from the time you have invested but have you tried clearing an abandoned village? Its great to see what happens. Also how different it is the next time you go back.
Trying very hard not to give any spoilers, its the way the world evolves around you because of things you do (or not), choices you make etc. Its not as black and white as the choice to save Wyatt or Fergus in Wolfenstein for example but these decisions have far reaching impact - often unpredictable consequences. It all adds up to making the world feel 'alive' and dynamic - much more so than Red Dead and I loved that game too.
It is a little slow at first but then opens up into a very complex and enthralling world...
A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!
Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
The Dandelion sidequests are legitimately some of the best written things I've seen in video games. The sidequests in Novigrad alone could make up a whole game.
About to start the ladies of the woods quest, so far I'm loving this game.....a very mature game, in that many characters and decisions are not black and white, but in the grey. Movement can be a bit sluggish and I've ran into a small number of bugs, but given the scope and attention to detail within the game world, I can forgive it.
I've run into a bug where I cant run, I just walk....it started in the city, thought maybe it was tied to a glitch with the horse, where you can't run in the streets, and somehow it was confusing it with Gerald.......but Gerald just can't run, I've reloaded the save, pressed continue, fast traveled, switched controllers, engaged in combat......dude will not run.

Anybody else run into this?
Maybe it's just overweight? Try to drop or sell some heavy items.
