Topic: Godfall is lazy

I paid a premium to buy Godfall on PS5 hoping to play a game that made good use of the new ps5 features such as haptic feedback etc. It delivered on exactly 0% of that and plays like a crappy pc clone with a slightly modified button assignment. They clearly made very little effort to port the game to PS5 don't waste your money and buy it on pc for 30.

The game could clearly have used all the new ps5 mechanics and it failed to do so. They could easy have added a bow and arrow with basic puzzles to advance to a new area. They could easily have allowed you to jump and avoid traps such as fire etc. They could easily have added climbing walls and stuff to push/pull. They could easily have allowed you to use the touchpad to put on a new suit. They could have had suits tailored for different environments that allow you to travel in interesting ways such as flight. The list goes on and on and all of it fits in the context of the game.

Ps5's vibration, controller speaker, and controller tilt features aren't used at all. This is in stark contrast to games like astros playroom where they are used the vast majority of the time. Up, down, left, right aren't used either. Other games e.g. ffxv would have used them for switching weapons on the fly or something. Funny thing is ffxv has way more features than this lazy ass game and it is cheaper. If you charge big prices the game quality should be good too, right now it is an absolute joke to say this is worth 80-100 quid.

The levels are lazy, the implementation is lazy, even the story is lazy.
