It might be a bit personal for some, but I thought it might be interesting to talk about our personal aspirations outside of PlayStation activity. Mine, for example is to become a professional counselor at some stage in my life, and also dabble in game design at a later age. I also dream of owning a 'proper' cricket bat guitar rather than the cheaper version I currently possess. π€£
Anyway, feel free to share, or not, as you see fit.

Well, my dream has always been to work in the public sector and with economics, which I've now achieved. My next goal for my career would be to get "promoted" within my field. I wrote promoted with quotation marks because it's not really a promotion per se, it's more like having a more important role with more responsibility while still keeping the same title. I'm not really interested in becoming a manager or a leader (a lot of people have told me that I'd fit as a leader lol) as that would entail menial administrative tasks instead of actual work tasks. Although I do like having responsibility for a group of people, such as a team leader. But that's as far as I'll go.
But yeah, I really love my job and I'm glad that I've managed to achieve this life goal. Not everyone gets to work with something they love. Not to mention that I was unemployed for a long time and the only thing I cared about was video games, which pretty much defined my identity and that led me to taking gaming way too seriously. Now I have more important things to think about, so I'm also glad for this change. My balance between work and gaming is perfect right now.

You can contact me just to say hi.
I just want to complete the degree I'm currently busy with.
It has taken so much from me in terms of blood, sweat, tears, energy and time. It just seems like it will never end.
I feel like I'm missing out on so much at the moment. Games, sporting events, family events and just life in general. My life is forced to revolve around academics and academics only.
I just want to move on to the next stage of my life, with hopefully better things in store for me.
Planning to focus on being a hobbyist game designer again, whilst focusing on a career in psychology, potentially, if I can make it work, with a view to potentially becoming a Professional Therapist, after playing the games I have listed in the backlog thread, for a change. I may still stream stuff, to analyse the work of Professional Game Designers, for inspiration, but it seems like the next logical step after moving on from rock guitar to jazz guitar. Sounds random ,I know ,but makes sense to me - there is a correlation there, somewhere!, haha π
@nomither6 Mostly to help people who suffer from anxiety, depression, etc. Possibly do some counselling in the workplace to help coworkers resolve their issues. Sorry for the late reply, but I didn't notice your question until just now.
