How about Dead Island? I believe its still on sale for £2.99. Roughly 20 hours to complete.

@nessisonett ahh fair enough, yeah I switched to easy for free ride. Just thought it would be more palatable. I just kind of want the alien costume so I can go around looking for the collectibles in that outfit. Oh well maybe I'll settle for the clown instead

@nessisonett A couple others that came to mind if we still haven’t decided for next month were Star Wars Squadrons, Mad Max, and Rime. These are in my PS Plus list and have them at varying places of priority in the backlog.

@Th3solution Star Wars Squadrons is a good one, dogfighting games are something we haven’t covered yet!

@nessisonett Yeah, it looks like it’s about a 12 hour game or so, which is a pretty good length for a club game. If not this month, then we can keep it on deck for some time, if there are other players with an interest. It got pretty solid reviews and yeah, I’ve not played an aerial dogfight game in a really long time.

@ralphdibny sounds like I don't have to much fomo from packing my copy up and flogging it to cex before I tried it!

Just finished the main story. Yeah it was alright. Felt like I was playing just cos the trophies were quite easy to come by towards the end, and that it not a good sign in my book. Can't be arsed to go for any of the collectable trophies are anything like that. Still kept me entertained for a few hours and didn't have think too hard when playing it, which is probably what I needed at the moment.

@RogerRoger You be pleased with me, the trophy percentage ended up at a nice round 50%!

I did a couple more levels, and survived a big shootout at the docks. From the trophies, there appears to be about 5 chapters of the main story left to do.

The gunfights can get a bit annoying on Classic difficulty, as your character dies quick, and enemies can be bullet sponges if you hit them anywhere other than the head. But I'm enjoying the challenge.

@R1spam haha fair enough, weirdly Mafia seems to have retained its value since release. I don't often see big sales on it!

@crimsontadpoles yep you are nearly there! I think I did quite a few retries of some of the shootouts. There's normally a health pack at each checkpoint so it's not too bad. I had autoaim on after that turret section though, normally I'd auto aim, knock the right stick up a bit and hit the headshot like that

@ralphdibny That tricky hotel mission was where I enabled autoaim (on low settings). I'm trying to see if I can beat the game without turning autoaim up higher, but good to know that it's a useful option if I need it.

@crimsontadpoles that's fair enough, I was adamant I wouldn't use it until the turret mission. Once I'd turned it on, I just felt like there was no going back for my soul 😅

@crimsontadpoles that was a tricky one, I resorted to using the shotgun lots for that mission and really enjoyed just blasting people as I dashed up that central staircase and across the rooftops.

@RogerRoger Think I got the one for adding 15 cars into the garage on the penultimate mission, which may have tipped it over the scale. You don't wanna see some of my other games though, I think one stands at 7% and another at 19%! 😬

@RogerRoger Maybe if I tell myself off enough times with stuff like 'Tut tut, Rog is not gonna like this', I might revisit those games and pop another trophy or two to get a nice round trophy percentage!
