I could probably be down with Darksiders, though I'm not sure how far I'd get with it. I've got the first 2 on Wii U so I'd be playing them there. I have played one of them for about 4-5 hours and I think I got lost and never went back to it so would probably start it again, if it's even the first one that I played. So yeah, count Darksiders as a third and final vote from me.
I enjoyed Darksiders when I played it on 360, it is a decent Zelda clone. Plus Mark Hamill voices a character, which is always a bonus.
I've not played the sequels, so would be up for those if they ever came up as they were both with Plus. Played a bit of Genesis which is on NOW, but didn't really hold my attention.
I've had a weirdly busy week and probably would have finished Mafia by now if it was a normal one as I was off work.

Of those, I’d probably join with Bioshock 2. I might replay UC Lost Legacy although I’d been planning to do my replay of the series in order.
I also might replay Shadow of the Colossus, as it’s one of my favorite games of all-time, but I’d have to see how my mood is going. Even if I don’t replay it I’ll surely chime in with discussion since I have plenty of thoughts on it.
I’ve always been curious about Darksiders but I don’t own the first game, just 2&3 from Plus. I’d probably not spend the money on it.
And Streets of Rage 4 is also tempting, but I don’t own it and probably wouldn’t buy it.
Maybe I just need to bite the bullet and join PS Now 😅. I just keep waiting for that hybrid membership to drop where Plus and Now are bundled at a discount.
Does Now allow you to download PS4 games onto the PS5 so as to benefit from the extra jump in speed and frame rate? Is PS3 game streaming better on the PS5? How long do games usually stay on Now before being recycled off?

1. Yes, PS4 games downloaded will benefit from the PS5. Crucially, PS5 versions aren’t included though so you’ll be relying on the patches to the PS4 version.
2. I definitely feel like the streaming is smoother on PS5, could be a placebo but I’d probably say yes, it makes a difference. If I can play Killzone on it then it should be good enough for most games.
3. Games are indefinite on PS Now unless stated otherwise. In which case, they’ll have a date attached to them the day they’re put on the service. So Red Dead 2 for example.
@nessisonett Thanks, mate. I just famously remember your having access to God of War yanked before you could dust off the platinum. Sounds like that’s the exception rather than the rule. I’m much slower than the average gamer at getting around to games and finishing them that I feared that Now would regularly strand my game playthroughs before I could complete them (or even get to them).

@Th3solution Yeah, that was honestly my own fault since I knew it was coming. Should have been a bit faster! Although I’d pulled an all-nighter and everything and still didn’t get the platinum 😂😂
@RogerRoger Honestly, that shortlist isn’t set in stone at all so if you have any suggestions then put them forward. Preferably something a bit left-field!
@RogerRoger Yeah, we’re doing Resi 3 for Halloween! Kinda wish we did actually have a way of playing PS1 games on the PS5, even if it was Barbie Super Sports since it would open up our choices 😂
So I played a bit more of Mafias free ride. I've done about half of the missions. I can't do the Alien Infiltration one though because it's too hard. I think I might knock it on the head, not sure :/
@nessisonett ahh, I really do want to explore some other bits and bobs. See if I can actually make it off the roads in the top part of the map. Maybe I will go in for some collectibles and do that on the way. Have another crack at the brutal alien infiltration another time
@Th3solution Since subbing to Now it has made me stick with games a bit more rather then floating off to another game. Unless I've really not enjoyed the game that is.

I actually didn't realise there were free roam missions at the end (or the strange choice in credit music but I didn't play in classical difficulty) that was anything other than finding collectibles and cars! Have I missed much? I thought the pacing of the game was pretty good so glad they didn't shoe-horn them in the middle of the story.
@R1spam it's hard to say if you've missed much 😅. It's more of a bonus thing I think. The story for each mission is told by text. They are quite challenging though. I think it's just a little extra thing to do while you mop up collectibles
@ralphdibny I had to do a couple to get the last few cars for the platinum. They’re bloody difficult! The first one especially but then I realised I was still in Classic difficulty which is why the car controlled like absolute ass 😂
