1 – Very first video game
Sonic 2. It came bundled with the Mega Drive that I got for Christmas, must have been 1992 or 1993.

2 – Your favorite character.
Whoever wins the Push Square tournament. They will have earned my love and respect.

3 – A game that is underrated.
Time Slip, it was one of those Net Yaroze games back on the PS1 that used to get bundled onto the demo discs. It involved a lot of snails.

4 – Your guilty pleasure game.
Singstar, without a doubt. I hardly even feel guilty about it, in fact I'm considering hiring a vocal coach in the run-up to the next family gathering.

5 – Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
Both Suikoden characters. Aspire to Gremio, but am more like Viktor.

6 – Most annoying character.
Moira from Fallout 3, my god, never has an NPC got me killed so many times. But I still love her.

7 – Favorite game couple.
Abigail and John Marston.

8 – Best soundtrack.
Grand Theft Auto 3.

9 – Saddest game scene.
The ending I got on Silent Hill 2 was pretty bleak. I wasn't great at the game though, so it may not have been the 'proper' ending. Hell, for all I know the canonical ending could involve lots of laughter, a musical number and a break-dancing Pyramid Head.

10 – Best gameplay.
Micro Machines 2.

11 – Gaming system of choice.
This is a strangely-worded question. Does it mean ever? Or at the moment? Currently, I tend to play all my games on PS4, but those old Mega Drive cartridges are a bugger to get in the disc tray.

12 – A game everyone should play.
We Love Katamari.

13 – A game you’ve played more than five times.
Sonics 1-& Knuckles, Suikoden 1 & 2, Streets of Rage II. These are the only ones I can think of.

14 – Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper.
A picture of my man-crush Nathan Drake. He is standing with his arms folded on top of a watchtower, which thrusts into a beautiful blue sky. It is worryingly phallic.

I'm nowhere near my PS4 so no screenshot, but I am currently playing GTA V again, to my shame. I AM PART OF THE PROBLEM

16 – Game with the best cut scenes.
The Last Of Us.

17 – Favorite antagonist.
Until Mania came along, I was starting to seriously sympathise with Dr Robotnik.

18 – Favorite protagonist.
Ryo Hazuki. Although this is mainly because in my version of Shenmue, he did nothing except go to the arcade and play Space Harrier all day before spending his wages on toy dispensers.

19 – Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in.
See above for my dream lifestyle.

20 – Favorite genre.
Good question. I don't know. At the risk of sounding like one of those people who reply the same way when you ask them what their favourite type of music is... "I like everything".

21 – Game with the best story.
The Last Of Us (again).

22 – A game sequel which disappointed you.
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, but it did pick up towards the end.

23 – Game you think had the best graphics or art style.
I'm a big fan of Dark Souls' whole vibe. And Bloodborne too.

24 – Favorite classic game.
Super Mario World.

25 – A game you plan on playing.
Monster Hunter is top of the list at the moment.

26 – Best voice acting.
Stephen Merchant as Wheatley in Portal 2, an absolute tour-de-force, as they say in Tinseltown.

27 – Most epic scene ever.
Parappa rapping his way to the front of the queue for the toilet. Alas, as I discovered on that fateful away trip to Millwall in '05, it doesn't work in real life.

28 – Favorite game developer.
Once upon a time I would have said Konami, back when they were churning out absolute corkers like MGS 1, Symphony of the Night, Suikoden and Vandal Hearts at a rate of about one-a-minute on the PS1. That feels like a long time ago now though, so let's say Naughty Dog. Of course in 20 years they'll probably be reduced to peddling erotic pachinko machines featuring Nathan Drake in nothing more than a studded g-string. Actually...

29 – A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving.
Blitzball, on Final Fantasy X. At first me and my mate thought 'what is this?', ten minutes later we were hooked.

30 – Your Favorite Game of all time
I was about to say Suikoden II but then a little voice in my head said "NiGHTS" so let's go with that.

Roman Bellic from GTA 4. Still saved him though.

Tidus and Yuna

Tough one. Would have to go with Final Fantasy VI
9 – Saddest game scene.
A scene near the end of Final Fantasy X inside Sin although having just finished Nier Automata I have to say it has some very, very sad moments.
10 – Best gameplay.
Portal 2 is so clever. Amazing puzzles throughout and perfectly executed.
11 – Gaming system of choice.
PlayStation 2, though current would be PlayStation 4
12 – A game everyone should play.

Lots but most played must be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I don't remember. My phone wallpaper is my dead cat and has been since 2013.

Leisure Suit Larry. Or maybe Far Cry 4 - a good but not amazing game that I still played to death.

Bowser - I never manage to get off with the blonde.

@Kidfried Thanks - I seriously love the Rapture soundtrack. I was caught abroad last year for work and got poorly and I just listened to it in the background as I tried to chill out and get better.

I liked your choice for best opening - coming into Rapture in Bioshock is just epic!

ok i know i said my most epic scene was in FFXIII when they returned to Cocoon BUT after getting to the final boss in Dissidia NT i'm changing it to this

seeing the heroes and villains of Final Fantasy work together was awesome

I woke up at 4am feeling sick and I've been laying in bed ever since. I ache, I'm starving and I'm miserrrraaabllleeee

Is $30 too high a price for Elex? I know here and most sites gave it a 4, but after watching a few videos even with its flaws it looks kind of fun.

@kyleforrester87 Is Britain having a huge flu epidemic like the US? Everyone has been sick at least once this season. I feel for you, man. Being sick sucks.

@Th3solution yeah there is some pretty gnarly flu going about at the moment, I had it last week actually wasn't nice. But this is my girlfriend poisoning me with last nights dinner, feels like someone's been wringing out my intestine lol. But I am over the hump now and managed to get out of bed. Seems like it's one of those 24 hour to hell and back type stomach bugs lol

Watching her play Rime now. This bird things weird.

I'm usually pretty lucky with games not bugging out on me but this weekend I've had Xenoblade Chronicles bug out - started with loss of audio then everyone just stood looking at each other in battle not doing anything, but I could run around freely. Had to restart and lost about 2.5 hours.

Now Crossing Souls has just frozen on me, character can just turn and run on the spot. Had to restart and gotta play Chapter 6 again.

On the plus side Crossing Souls is really quite a brilliant game.

@kyleforrester87 Glad your enjoying Crossing Souls! The game crashed on me twice. Once early on in the dinner, which caused me to replay an hours worth & once when I died on top of a heart & the game couldn't decide on whether I was alive or dead.

Digimon also crashed on me over the weekend & I lost about 90mins worth of progress . Happened whilst I beat a Chapter & the game was trying to load the next cut scene. Has happened a few times already & it sucks every time!

I wonder what the ReedPOP takeover means for PushSquare.

@KratosMD ehh no problem, I can do the sections pretty quickly again now I know what I'm doing I think!! Agree though, never had a problem with a Nintendo game. But to be fair they make up about 5% of my consumed games!

@Fight_Teza_Fight Crossing Souls is very good, really digging the art work and the story is interesting. The soundtrack could be a bit more prominent at times I think? And the combat is okay, kinda loose but it works. It really makes me respect how well Heart Machine tuned Hyper Light Drifters combat though. You played that? I think you'd dig it. Perhaps you're holding out for a Vita version though?

@kyleforrester87 Yes I own Hyper Light Drifter. It's comfortably sitting in my backlog next to Inside, Pyre, Nex Machina & other great indie games I'll hopefully get to one day.
Heard great things about it.
I did hold out for a Vita port, but the dev cancelled it (& the Wii U port), due to health issues.

As for ReedPOP acquiring gamer network... .
I hope they'll just let the guys run the site like they always have. I don't like change.
