Looking for all weapons and armour in Assassin's Creed Mirage? The latest game in Ubisoft's sandbox series may not lean into RPG elements as heavily as previous titles — like Odyssey and Valhalla — but it does still feature an equipment system, which lets you customise Basim's loadout to suit your style of play.
In this guide, we're going to list all weapons and armour that you can find in Assassin's Creed Mirage. We'll also provide locations and a usefulness ranking for each item, so that you have some insight into which gear is worth tracking down.
Assassin's Creed Mirage: All Weapons Ranked and Where to Find Them
Weapons in Assassin's Creed Mirage are split between two categories: Swords and Daggers. Basim utilises both during combat — a sword in his right hand and a dagger in his left.
Both swords and daggers can be found in Gear Chests scattered around the map, and can be upgraded by expending materials at a Blacksmith, which slightly increases their damage output.
All Swords
These are all of the Swords that you can find in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Initiate of Alamut Sword
Location: Basim's default sword, given to him near the start of the game.
Perk: Sharpened Blade - After a successful Parry, next Attack deals +50% damage
Usefulness: This is a huge damage increase following a parry, but the perk obviously has no use when you're fighting against enemies who only use unlockable attacks — and they're often the most troublesome foes in the game. Still, a good perk for tearing through lesser opponents.
Our Rating:
Zanj Uprising Sword
Location: Metal Factory in Shari', Harbiyah — you'll need to break the door's lock by hitting it with a throwing knife from the open window, located around the other side of the building. Or, you can fight your way through the guards and their training ground to gain direct access.
Perk: Strike Back - After a perfect Dodge, next Attack deals +50% damage
Usefulness: This perk provides a significant damage increase, but based on our testing, it's unclear what actually constitutes as a 'perfect dodge'. Sometimes the damage boost is immediately noticeable after dodging an incoming blow. Other times, it doesn't seem to trigger at all. A shame, since this would easily be one of the most effective perks in the game if it wasn't so inconsistent. It's still pretty great, though, as dodges are your most reliable form of defence.
Our Rating:
Abbasid Knight Sword
Location: Scriptorium, in Yasiriyah, Abbasiyah — in the main building, enter through an open door on the top floor, and watch out for the guards.
Perk: On the Edge - When Basim's Health is lower than 50%, Light Attacks deal +30% damage
Usefulness: A meaty damage increase that's easy to activate — although the trigger situation isn't ideal. Basim doesn't have much health to work with even on the normal difficulty setting, and so being below 50% is asking for trouble. That said, this perk can help you get out of tight spots, letting your rip through lesser enemies a lot faster.
Our Rating:
Hidden One Sword
Location: Abandoned Caravanserai in Wilderness West — in the main building of the area, behind a barred door. You can break it open by climbing into the open window above, and then hitting the lock through the wooden beams on the floor with a throwing knife. Go back outside and enter through the now open door to find the chest.
Perk: Venomous - Every fifth hit Poisons the enemy
Usefulness: Poison is an excellent way to rack up additional damage in this game, but five hits can be a tall order in more chaotic fights. Still, this perk can make taking down heavily armoured foes a breeze as long as you maintain your flurry of attacks.
Our Rating:
Rostam Sword
Location: A reward for completing the contract 'The Weapons Dealer'.
Perk: Chain Reaction - Every consecutive Attack deals +5% damage, up to a maximum of +50%
Usefulness: The damage bonus racks up quite quickly against tougher foes, but it doesn't make a huge difference in terms of the time it takes to empty a single enemy's health bar. Most of the time, you'll be looking at a very slight improvement, although as far as we can tell, the bonus does carry between enemies. A consistent damage increase is possible, but you'll need to keep up the offensive.
Our Rating:
Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar
Location: Inside the chamber from 'The Calling' quest, which is accessed by diving into the northern oasis and following the tunnel. You'll need to be in possession of three shards to unlock the weapon. These shards can be taken from the bodies of specific NPCs.
Perk: Blood Price - Maximum Health is lowered by 50%, but damage is increased by 50%
Usefulness: Basim is already fragile to begin with, so having to fight with 50% less health at all times is challenging. It is a hefty damage increase, though, and if you're skilled at the game, it's a trade that you may be willing to make. One for advanced players only, then.
Our Rating:
All Daggers
These are all of the daggers that you can find in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Initiate of Alamut Dagger
Location: Basim's default dagger, given to him near the start of the game.
Perk: Aggressive Defense - Parries deal +25 Defense damage
Usefulness: This perk lets you deal some serious additional damage to an opponent's stamina bar, but the game's most troublesome enemies make use of attacks that can't be parried to begin with. Still, against spearmen in particular, having the extra defense damage can be useful.
Our Rating:
Hidden One Dagger
Location: Water Mill, in the Northern Wilderness.
Perk: Spread - Melee kills of Poisoned enemies create a poison cloud that damages nearby enemies
Usefulness: Naturally, the Hidden One Dagger pairs well with the Hidden One Sword, letting you spread poison damage across the battlefield. The damage that the cloud deals isn't actually that impressive but it does add up in longer fights.
Our Rating:
Rostam Dagger
Location: Complete the contract 'The Satiric Poet'.
Perk: Point Blank - Hitting enemies with Throwing Knives from close range deals +10% damage
Usefulness: Throwing knives are an amazing tool when you want to be stealthy, but you usually won't want to use them when enemies are rushing at you since aiming can feel so sluggish. As such, this perk just doesn't seem worth it. The 10% damage increase isn't going to make a noticeable difference, and head shotting unarmoured foes is almost always an instant kill to begin with. There are simply better dagger perks elsewhere.
Our Rating:
Zanj Uprising Dagger
Location: The Great Bimaristan in Haylanah, Abbasiyah — in a room on the roof, behind a barred door. Break the lock from the other side with a throwing knife. You can get the angle by perching on the fence that looks into the room through the window.
Perk: Second Wind - Successful Dodges refill 10% of Stamina
Usefulness: Dodging is your most reliable form of defence in this game, and this perk keeps your stamina in check. As long as you're timing your dodges correctly, and not simply spamming them, you'll notice a welcome increase in how much stamina you've got to work with. A great perk that's almost always useful.
Our Rating:
Abbasid Knight Dagger
Location: Qasr Salih in Sharqiyah, Karkh — in the highest room of the main building. Take a nearby oil jar and climb the various boxes and shelves around the corner to reach the roof. Throw the jar at the rubble flooring and drop down the newly created hole to find the chest.
Perk: Resilient - When Basim's Health is lower than 50%, Damage Resistance is increased by 30%
Usefulness: You'd think a 30% reduction to all incoming damage sounds good, but the reality is that when Basim's health is below half, you're only ever two or three attacks from death anyway. The reduction doesn't actually mean much when your health pool is limited from the start — although there may be times when this perk does prevent a stronger blow from killing Basim outright.
Our Rating:
The Samsaama
Location: Inside the chamber from 'The Calling' quest, which is accessed by diving into the northern oasis and following the tunnel. You'll need to be in possession of two shards to unlock the weapon. These shards can be taken from the bodies of specific NPCs.
Perk: Life Steal - Every fifth Hit heals Basim for 10% of his health
Usefulness: A 10% heal may not seem like much, but if you're fighting effectively during a longer battle, you can keep your health topped up rather nicely with this perk. It can definitely help you cut down on drinking elixirs.

Assassin's Creed Mirage: All Outfits Ranked and Where to Find Them
Outfits in Assassin's Creed Mirage essentially act as complete armour sets. However, they do not have stats, and unless specifically stated by a perk description, they do not increase Basim's health or reduce incoming damage. As such, usefulness is based entirely on each outfit's unique perk.
Outfits are found in Gear Chests scattered across the map, and they can be upgraded at a tailor in exchange for materials, which improves the effectiveness of their perk.
Initiate of Alamut Outfit
Location: Basim's default outfit, given to him near the start of the game.
Perk: Silent Blade - Enemies hear 50 / 75 / 100% less noise emitted by Basim during assassinations
Usefulness: A deceptively useful perk, especially once it's been upgraded. Nearby enemies can actually be quite receptive to the noise Basim makes when stabbing someone, so this outfit's a great choice for when you want to be as stealthy as possible.
Our Rating:
Zanj Uprising Outfit
Location: Khurasan Gate Guardhouse in Khuld, Harbiyah — on the roof of the main building. You'll need to break some jars, and then push the left shelf forward until you have enough room to hit a large jar with your throwing knife. Once it's smashed, move the right shelf forward, smash more jars, and duck under the gap to find the chest.
Perk: Infamous - Reduces the impact of illegal actions on Basim's notoriety by 20 / 30 / 40%
Usefulness: Notoriety isn't a huge deal in this game, since all you need to do is tear down a couple of wanted posters to get rid of it. If you're always getting into fights and the notoriety system's starting to annoy you, this outfit can help, but it's far from essential.
Our Rating:
Rostam Outfit
Location: Complete the contract 'The Marked Coins'.
Perk: Sound of Silence - Enemies hear 50 / 75 / 100% less noise emitted by Basim while moving
Usefulness: Basim is silent when crouched and sneaking, which immediately calls this perk's usefulness into question. However, when fully upgraded, this outfit makes Basim silent even when he's sprinting, which opens up various opportunities for quick kills as you dart between enemies. Situational, but not as pointless as it may first appear.
Our Rating:
Hidden One Outfit
Location: Mazalim Courts in Administrative District, Round City — the chest is in a room at the top of the building. Climb the central tower and find the large, breakable wooden window. It'll show up with red colouring when using your eagle vision, if you're having trouble finding it.
Perk: Deadly Moment - Focus Chunks fill an additional 5 / 10 / 15% when performing Stealth kills
Usefulness: The bonus isn't exactly huge, but when you're stealthing around large areas, the additional focus does add up quite quickly. Focus is incredibly powerful when used correctly — you can take out entire rooms of guards when it's upgraded via the skill tree — and this perk makes the mechanic even more deadly.
Our Rating:
Abbisad Knight Outfit
Location: Officers' Club in Fief of Rayasanah, Karkh — in a chest that's guarded by numerous guards, around the back of the building.
Perk: Lick Your Wounds - Basim regenerates 1 / 2 / 3% Health every 2 seconds while unseen, up to 50% maximum health
Usefulness: This health regeneration is so slow that it almost isn't worth using. The fact of the matter is that if you're playing stealthy, you ideally won't be taking any damage to begin with, and since this perk doesn't work while in combat, it's only barely useful when you've just escaped from a tough fight and you're hiding from your foes. There are much better perks elsewhere.
Our Rating:
Milad's Outfit
Location: Inside the chamber from 'The Calling' quest, which is accessed by diving into the northern oasis and following the tunnel. You'll need to be in possession of five shards to unlock the outfit. These shards can be taken from the bodies of specific NPCs.
Perk: Forgotten Terror - Successful Air Assassinations set off a flash of lightning to disorient bystanders within a 15m radius
Usefulness: The flashiest outfit perk in the game, and actually quite useful when you're assassinating a foe from above. The lightning temporarily prevents nearby enemies from getting involved, and gives you enough time to continue your stabbing spree. A solid perk, but it is situational.
