Looking for all Legendary Trinkets in Assassin's Creed Shadows? Well, you've come to the right place. In this Assassin's Creed Shadows guide, we're going to list every Legendary Trinket in the open world title, along with info on where you can find them.

We've also got guides on All Legendary Weapons and All Legendary Armor Sets, if you're on a quest to make Naoe and Yasuke as powerful as possible:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, Legendary Trinkets are unique (and very small) accessories that can be found all across the game. Some are hidden away in treasure chests, while others are acquired after defeating assassination targets, or completing certain quests.

Unlike Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Trinkets, Legendary Trinkets come with their own unique design and gameplay perk. Generally speaking, they're the best Trinkets in the game.

Trinkets tend to provide your character with a specific, potentially playstyle-altering perk, alongside inherent stat buffs.

When you get a Legendary Trinket, it'll be the same level as Naoe and Yasuke. This means that you'll have to upgrade them via the forge at your hideout (which is unlocked as the main story progresses) if you want them to remain powerful throughout the game.

Below is a list of all Legendary Trinkets in Assassin's Creed Shadows, categorised by character.

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe

These are all of Naoe's Legendary Trinkets.

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Amaterasu's Blessing (Naoe)

Location: Inside the Legendary Treasure Chest in the Old Kofun (Izumi Settsu - Izumi Coast) — can only be accessed by Naoe

Perks:

  • +10% damage per unused Ability slot

Sacrificing your abilities for an extra bit of damage isn't really worthwhile, since efficient use of your offensive abilities will make up the difference — or there abouts. Besides, playing without abilities limits Naoe's potential, as they make her much more of a threat in direct combat.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Otakemaru's Battlecry

Location: Inside the Legendary Treasure Chest in Koriyama Camp (Izumi Settsu - Muggy Lands)

Perks:

  • +1% Health per Mastery Point in Shinobi

You can up Naoe's health considerably with this Trinket — up to around 30% if our maths is on point — although you obviously won't get the full benefit until you've maxed out her Shinobi skill tree. One for later in the game, perhaps, but only if you're always getting into melee confrontations with Naoe to begin with.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Oni's Fury (Naoe)

Location: Inside the Legendary Treasure Chest at Teratsutsuki Den (Izumi Settsu - Kawachi Heights)

Perks:

  • +15% damage per non-Legendary Gear Equipped

Legendary equipment is by and large the best gear in the game, so sacrificing it for the sake of additional damage doesn't quite add up, given how powerful some of the unique Legendary perks are. Still, early on in the adventure, when you're low level and you're yet to discover Legendary weapons or armor, this isn't a bad Trinket to have equipped.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Graceful Crane

Location: Inside a Legendary Treasure Chest at the Mikami Viewpoint in the Shimmering Fields (Omi - Shimmering Fields)

Perks:

  • 150% to Stats with no weapon equipped

We wouldn't necessarily recommend unequipping your weapons, because their inherent stats are so key to dealing good damage, but, a 150% buff to all of Naoe's base stats is gigantic. This includes buffing her unarmed damage, making unarmed combat much more viable — although her attacks are very limited without a weapon. Might be fun for some kind of self-imposed challenge, but that's about it.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Dragon Fly's Cunning

Dragon Fly's Cunning 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for killing The Corrupt Daikan member, The Hoarder (encountered during a main story quest)

Perks:

  • +15% to stats with only a Katana equipped

Once you've unlocked most of its abilities and passive perks, the Katana is arguably Naoe's best weapon when it comes to direct combat. As such, this Trinket is well worth considering if you're fond of fighting with a Katana, and you're okay with ditching a second weapon. +15% to stats across the board is not to be sniffed at.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Soaring Tatsu

Soaring Tatsu 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for killing all of The Godai Shinobi

Perks:

  • +1% Armor Piercing per Mastery Point in Tanto

Armor Piercing isn't a hugely important stat, and this perk doesn't really give any noticeable boost until you've invested a lot of points into the Tanto skill tree. If you're a huge Tanto fan, then it might be worth considering eventually — but there are better Trinkets out there.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Flight of the Ubagabi

Flight of the Ubagabi 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for defeating The Kabuikimono member, Laughing Man (found in Harima - Mount Kasagata)

Perks:

  • +1% Adrenaline Gain per Mastery Point in Kusarigama

You can never have too much Adrenaline Gain, and so this is a solid Trinket for players who enjoy using the Kusarigama. However, as is the case with every perk that relies on spent Mastery Points, it only truly shines much later in the game.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Fujin's Tempest

Fujin's Tempest 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for taking down The Iron Hand Guild organisation

Perks:

  • +10% damage per alerted province

Realistically, who's going to put multiple provinces on alert in order to get a relatively meagre boost to their damage? The only way this perk is of any real value is if you set yourself some kind of challenge of upset every single one of the game's regions.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Omukade's Feast

Location: Inside a hidden Legendary Treasure Chest in Yamato - Hidden River (it's not near any map marker, and you need to break to box to get inside the cave)

Perks:

  • +15% to Stats with only a Tanto equipped

A great Trinket if you're a big fan of Tantos — a 15% bonus across all stats is noticeable.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Minogame's Protection

Location: Inside the Legendary Treasure Chest at Mibuno Castle (Iga - Mibuno Vale)

Perks:

  • +50% damage per empty Armor Piece

This Trinket doubles Naoe's damage if you're not wearing any armor, with the obvious downside being that she becomes a total glass cannon (and she's already rather frail in direct combat). This perk does have a lot of potential — but only if you're especially skilled at the game.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Naoe Fluttering Moth

Location: Inside the Legendary Treasure Chest in Four Devils Lair (Iga - Nabari Wilds)

Perks:

  • +15% to Stats with only a Kusarigama equipped

Kusarigamas are deadly, versatile weapons in this game, and so if you enjoy using them, this Trinket's worth considering. A 15% bonus across all of Naoe's stats is not to be overlooked.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke

These are all of Yasuke's Legendary Trinkets.

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Kitsune's Trickery

Kitsune's Trickery 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for killing The Twisted Tree member Takahashi Inoshichi (found in Yamashiro - Kyoto)

Perks:

  • 1% Health per Mastery Point in Samurai

This Trinket can provide a substantial boost to Yasuke's already large health pool — but you'll obviously need to max out the Samurai skill tree in order to get the full effect. More health is an eternally solid choice for the game's melee combat specialist.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Amaterasu's Blessing (Yasuke)

Amaterasu's Blessing (Yasuke) 1
Image: Push Square

Location: Acquired during main story quest 'A Prayer For Omi'

Perks:

  • +10% damage per unused Ability slot

Sacrificing abilities for some bonus damage just doesn't seem like the greatest idea to us — not when Yasuke's abilities can be so deadly. Only worth considering if you, for some reason, hardly ever bother with using abilities in battle.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Headhunter

Location: Inside a Legendary Treasure Chest at Blackstone Cascades (Harima - Mount Kasagata)

Perks:

  • +15% to Stats with only a Long Katana equipped

The Long Katana is Yasuke's best all-round weapon, and so using it as your one and only armament isn't a terrible idea. +15% across all of your stats is a noticeable boost — it really just depends on whether you're happy playing with Long Katanas exclusively.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Oni's Fury (Yasuke)

Oni's Fury 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for defeating The Onryo member, The Noble

Perks:

  • +15% damage per non-Legendary Gear Equipped

A lot of Legendary equipment is almost always worthwhile for the unique perks, and so forgoing all of that for the sake of a damage increase does seem a touch wasteful. Still, early on in the game, when you may not have found many Legendary weapons or armor pieces, this damage boost certainly isn't a bad deal.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Armor Eater

Location: Inside a Legendary Treasure Chest near the Kata in Tamba - Takeda

Perks:

  • +15% to Stats with a ranged weapon equipped

You really can't go wrong with this Trinket if you make use of a Bow or Teppo. A straight, no strings attached 15% increase to all of your stats is very nice.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Encouragement

Encouragement 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for defeating the Kurai Eikyou member, The Blacksmith Agent

Perks:

  • +15% to Stats with only a Naginata equipped

Obviously a Trinket for Naginata enjoyers, a 15% boost to all stats is not to be overlooked. Naginatas are difficult weapons to dismiss, given their reach, overall attack speed, and strong abilities.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Warrior's Respite

Warrior's Respite 1
Image: Push Square

Location: A reward for completing Yasuke's personal quest 'My Name Is Yasuke' later in the game

Perks:

  • +1% Headshot Damage per Master Point in Teppo

Teppos are already incredibly destructive weapons, and this perk just makes them even more devastating. You'll need to invest heavily in the Teppo skill tree to notice a real difference in damage, but this Trinket basically lets you one-shot headshot any foe who isn't an armoured elite or boss.

Our Rating:

All Legendary Trinkets and Where to Find Them Yasuke Scale of the Koi

Location: Inside a Legendary Treasure Chest that's in an unnamed area in Wakasa - Onyu Pass

Perks:

  • +1% Armor Piercing per Mastery Point in Kanabo

Armor Piercing isn't a particularly useful stat since armor itself is quite easy to overcome — especially later on in the game. Still, with enough points in the Kanabo you'll be tearing armor off like it's nothing, even against elites and bosses.
