@deathaxe When it comes to fighting that demon, you can even make him drop the sword while you're fighting him and grab it there and then to use against him. 🤣

A bit gutting we are not getting physical copy of this game.

This game is incredible. Been playing on PC and haven't been this hooked on a game in a while.

The surprise GOTY. It plays amazing with a controller. Don't be afraid to try tactician mode; the game is pretty easy once you hit level 5 and get access to stuff like Haste, Fireball, and Wall of Fire.
Hyena ears = speed potions; save these for troublesome fights and you'll be in great shape.
This is the best game to come out in 5 years so roll up your sleeves, enjoy, and don't feel too bad about save scumming a bit.

@VaultGuy415 cheers for the hyena ears tip. I have picked up so much stuff which I assumed was useless junk but it definitely feels like a game where everything has a place….I need to stop mass selling and actually read about stuff.

This game is giving me a gaming experience I've never had before.

It's definitely making me rethink strategies. Yesterday I tried sneak attacking an enemy before the battle started, instead they spotted me and a dialogue started. It gave me the option to control them with a roll and have them fight with me, I won the roll and they were on my side helping me to kill the rest of her tribe or whatever, when it was done, I had to do a couple rolls and ended up making her rip out her own throat.

10/10.

I reslly want this game but im a bit worried its going to be too deep and complicated for me. I love strategy games but i just suck at them.

@Kidfunkadelic83 It's just D&D. Melee is pretty overpowered, as are wizards and warlocks. There is an easy mode. Don't sweat it, it's more about tactics than complex strategy

@VaultGuy415 i literally dont know anything about D&D lol. I still think i might get it but im playing through Armoured Core at the moment and dont really want a reason to be dragged away from it.

Incredibly surprised the level cap is 12 in this game. I 100% expected it to be 20, though to be fair a typical months-long campaign might just leave you around level 14 at most if your group is meeting regularly.

I wonder if that's for potential dlc escalation.

Can't even play with friends due to different updates some of us have it others don't eu is behind apparently friends 😔

I found BG3 to be just another po-faced WRPG with far too many game mechanics that get in the way of having fun.

Give me the whimsy of Fable 2 any day of the week.
