FC 25 is the newest football / soccer simulation video game from EA Sports, and marks the second entry since the FIFA branding was dropped, depicting the real-life 2024/25 season. In this FC 25 guide, we're going to cover a range of topics and touch on all the game's most popular modes, like Career Mode and Ultimate Team. I played it today for two games and I couldn't get into it. UI is still lagfest, the players still run in mud despite pretty ok internet connection and low pings. I lose first game with 3 mins to the end of the match and then opponent drew another match within last minute of the game via free kick deflection of my own player.

The game looks really bad, it looks soft and blurry and somewhat bloomy? Hard to explain, but it does look to have lots of on screen filters that just ruins the fidelity.

Overall pretty huge disappointment. It feels exactly the same as the first entry of this gen back in FIFA 21. The zidane opening animation is the epitome of "let's cut costs where we can, despite getting billionaires from micro transactions". I actually was laughing because it looks like it was animated by hand back in 2008.

Heads up that I am pretty savage on FIFA games and have spent thousands of hours per each entry for multiple years in a row from FIFA 15 all the way to FIFA 21 and only really skipped FIFA 22 entirely and FIFA 23,24 we're just tragic all together and this entry is not different. So far this gen FIFA is just awful.
