- Clive's level, stats, unlocked abilities, equipment, and item inventory are carried over to New Game +
- Clive's potion capacity and healing upgrades are carried over
- Enemies stay the same level as they were in the base game, making the majority of the game very easy if you keep Clive's most powerful gear equipped
- Arcade Mode progress and scores do not carry over
- There are no changes to the story or side quests in New Game +

Final Fantasy 16 Final Fantasy Mode Explained
The oddly named 'Final Fantasy Mode' is essentially a hard difficulty mode, but it can only be played through New Game +. Select New Game + from the game's start menu, and then select Final Fantasy Mode instead of Story Focused or Action Focused.
Here's what Final Fantasy Mode entails in Final Fantasy 16:
- Final Fantasy Mode uses Clear Data — your save after completing the game
- Clive's level, stats, unlocked abilities, equipment, and item inventory are carried over to Final Fantasy Mode
- Clive's potion capacity and healing upgrades are carried over
- Clive's level cap is increased to 100
- All equipment can be further enhanced, and there's even some new gear to craft
- All enemies are more powerful, with increased levels and stats
- Enemy types are remixed and replaced in dungeons to create a relatively fresh experience
- Enemies are more aggressive towards Clive
- Chronolith Trials are remixed and made much more difficult
- Arcade Mode and Stage Replay reflect the remixed dungeons of Final Fantasy Mode
- There are no changes to the story or side quests in Final Fantasy Mode, aside from the aforementioned remixed enemy encounters

Very interesting I liked the Ultima mod on ffvii on PC. This sounds like a lot of fun. I wonder if elder scrolls will add a new game plus lol we are getting used to it .
Does anyone know if skipping the game to just after Phoenix gate on Final Fantasy mode stops you getting the trophy?
