Fortnite Chapter 6 is expected to start on 1st December 2024, the day after Chapter 2 Remix ends. To conclude Chapter 2 Remix and mark the start of Chapter 6, a Juice WRLD concert will be held in-game around noon on the Saturday. If you log in and attend the concert, you'll earn a free Juice WRLD skin.

What Are the Fortnite Chapter 6 Release Times?

Fortnite updates generally take place in the early hours of the morning for players in the USA, which could translate to the late morning or late night depending on your timezone. The update that brought the Chapter 2 Remix season online happened at 1am PT / 4am ET. If developer Epic Games chooses the same time for Fortnite Chapter 6, its release times will look like this:

  • North America: 1am PST / 2am MST / 3am CST / 4am EST
  • UK/Ire: 9am GMT
  • Europe: 10am CET / 11am EET
  • Asia/Oceania: 6pm JST / 5pm AWST / 8pm AEDT

What Should You Expect in Fortnite Chapter 6?

Very little has been officially confirmed for Chapter 6 of Fortnite, but all the leaks are pointing towards the season using ancient Japanese mythology as its main theming. This will be reflected in the big map update and the sort of skins and items you can earn from the Battle Pass. The loot pool will also be refreshed to include entirely new weapons.

A few days after the Chapter 6 launch, on 6th December, the Fortnite OG mode will arrive as a permanent addition. This additional mode sees the game return to its original state and cycle through the first seasons of Fortnite, at a rate of one per month. There will also be a Battle Pass tied to each season.
